RE-GREETINGS
Hi. It's been a while. We know. Maybe you noticed too. By now, you've probably
figured out that Eisley isn't one of those poof-up bands that the industry
pushes as next big thing and ends up being next dearly departed thing.
It's been 10 years this year (1998 - 2008). At the 20 year mark, Stacy
will only be 30 (Tom Yorke just turned 40). And while our current on-line
bombardment quota (OBQ) might lagging, there has been much going
on behind the veil; like - laying a new foundation, recording,
frequent on-line updates and endless conversations on Trolleywood and Laughing
City. But enough reflective gabble. Here's the substantive content:

BAND
BEGINS WORK ON LP #3
Eisley has 20+
new songs, most of them demo'd in garage band... and 3 lucky first
picks have been recorded at RoseWood
Studios in Tyler, Texas (eisley's studio version of happy
thought) where they will mastermind the entire next album.
In case you don't frequent TrolleyWood journals
or any of the band's journals,
click the "EisWood Sessions" link for the video-scoop on all that shiz.
This clip is the first in a series of in-studio video's we'll be tossing
on line throughout the process. Each future clip will feature a band
member narative. In this first offering, the not
so esoteric Stacy
speaks. oooo....

LIFE/BIZ
Pretty much, it's been a weird year. Ok - that's
putting it perfectly cryptic. Let's just say - burying the past
(and learning from it) has been the maxim for a 2008 recuperation/recreation
period leading to a 2009 resurgence/rebound. I've heard it said - "Things
turn out best for the people who make the best of the way things turn
out." Makes sense. And someone else also said, "When we get
down, we'll get up again".
Honestly,
time off has been utterly amazing. So don't feel too bad for this bunch.
Starbucks afternoons, August moons, walks with the dog at night, hanging
out with family and friends... not so bad. And hey - it's not like
we didn't headline that fat "Combinations"
tour this Spring, right? This year Eisley connected
with fans, played tons of music, got plenty of R&R
and still had time to write songs like frenzied lunatics. That's productive.
Meanwhile,
we've been laying the foundation for a new team. That's exciting.
We have new management in place. That's a relief. We have a portfolio
of bold, new images ready to unleash. Zealous. And we have new
songs recorded, water-marked and working for us. Resplendent. And
honestly, that's all that really matters. Music. So I hope you are
mildly psyched. Eisley is poised to bring you their most intensive, personal,
ambitious, self-made album ever... rich with the music you guys have grown
to know and love. Wondrous. So
get ready for a barage of news songs and shows. Get ready for the invasion that
should have happened in 2008.

Ok
- sure. sure. First, enjoy Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Eisley will be working on that record. Thanks
for being patient. We love
you guys. Look for more info soon by
checking for regular updates in TrolleyWood.
I will eblast you again as there is absolutely more fresh info coming
very soon. Till then...
Be good.
