Another odd song. It sounds like an argument put to music and the song does not have a chorus, which makes it very unusual. Pulling that sort of thing is Brian Wilson or Paul McCartney league stuff. They don't quite pull it off, but come close. The melody is stellar... but I would have refined the lyrics a bit more.

THey're amazing! Can we buy their music in the US now? THey said they had an ep with them and i went to try and find the merchbooth, but couldn't find them. Did anyone of yall find the merchbooth?

Eisley played some new songs! I remember one of them was "Sad." I couldn't understand the words - Chauntelle steped to the side for that one (i think) - It was an impressive song that will certainly improve for me after ferther listens... it's Eisley!!!! so I'm confident of that! Thank you Eisley for coming and rocking the house!

edit: Yalls presentation of Mr. Pine was spectacular!

What is Many Funerals About?

I just discovered this band by accident and was drawn in by the harmonies and the slightly weird songs/subject matter. For Example, who uses the word golly anymore? But the way this group does it is very innocent and endearing. In a way they remind me of the Innocence Mission, which is going to date me. I am nearly forty and these kids are barely 20(?).

Anyway, I got all the Cds and EPs and what stuck me immediately is that this is a group of siblings and hearing the song many funerals, I have to ask, did their parents die?
