For You Mom...

Embrace all of the scar...
Laugh, because it will cure...
Search deep, because joy is found...
Love, because we're made too.
Sing, because it wants out..
Mom, you inspire me more than any other lady on earth. You're beautiful inside and out and I hope to be half the woman you are someday! I love you so much!
Happy Mother's Day,
Love,
Chauntelle

Does this thing still work???

Hey everyone! Okay since it's been a gazillian years since I've posted anything in here I feel ridiculous about it, however, my dad told me some people wanted me too so...since I never know what to say, I'm just going to put thigns randomly. Also, because I don't want you guys to think that I have forgotten about you or that I don't love you anymore, hehe!
I'm happier than I've ever been in my life!
I hear there are rumors that Adam Lazzara from Taking Back Sunday and I are dating? Well, you all know that us Eisley people prefer that our personal lives remain private, but it's hard to keep this one a secret! Adam is really amazing, and we're both way excited about the future!
Thank you, to all you well wisher's!
I am so excited about this record and I can't wait for you guys to hear it and I desperately hope you love it as much as we do!
I had one vocal lesson from a man named Ron Anderson and he was really great! I felt really encouraged. I still have a long way to go but at least he was able to teach me what I was doing wrong and how to work on it, we'll see how it goes, hehe!
I was still insecure about singing on the record. I mostly just did small harmony parts and a couple (short) bridge parts, so you won't be like, "WOAH! CHAUNTELLE IS DOMINATING THE ENTIRE RECORD AND THE WORLD!!!!!"
I am super happy with the guitar tones I got and I hope that you all like them, too!
I'm excited about my Hofner Club 60 guitar, hooray! It's so weird!
I gave up on trying to write a song for the record because I got overwhelmed (wasn't sure if it was really Eisley enough) and I regret it, but I am going to keep trying. Maybe the next record?
Okay well that's all I can think to say for now! I love you guys and I hope you all have amazingly happy and wonderfully heart-warming holidays!!!
Happy (early) Thanksgiving!
Love,
Chauntelle
What's new in life...

Hello everyone!
I'm extremely happy in life these days and I hope you all are as well! I am enjoying this tour immensely! SwitchFoot and Reeve Oliver are the bomb, haha! A real hoot! I love 'em!
The hugest thing that's happened to me lately... I wrote half of a song! Also, I might sing it someday....but, of course, I am scared, haha! I'm still not finished with it. Writing songs ain't easy baby! But I absolutely love it! So happy I finally quit fighting the urge to let it all out!
In the future, I hope you all will like my songs and voice as much as my sisters (that's if I actually start writing for the band and stuff, hehe) that's a hope of mine. And if not......well, I'm happy just playin' the guitar...and I'll just keep my music to myself, haha!
It's the best feeling to do things that I've always dreamt of doing and that I have always thought I could not do. You all should try it! Forget the voices in your head that are always there telling you that," you can't", and, "that you're not good enough", and so on and so on! Because, basically I've come to realize that it's all a bunch of crap and it only keeps you in a place of suffering. It's like you're crippling yourself, ya know? "You do it to yourself, you do! You and no one else!"
Radiohead knows what I'm talkin' about, see?!? Haha! Oh gosh....I need to go to bed!!!!!!
Ok.....I love all of you people! Thank you so much for everything you do for us! Sincerely!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!
Love,
Chauntelle
P.S. I have a crush on Jonny Depp, too! ![]()
