Hey, i haven't posted in a while. My time at home is the only
time I have for my life to be private at all. Not that i have
much to keep private, its just nice taking some real time off.
But last week we played south by south west. It was pretty
fun. Actually it was really fun except that i slept like 8 hours
from wednesday to sunday. And we had a million and a half
interviews it felt like. But we got to see lots of our friends
that are in bands... We don't get to see them often because
they're always on tour. So this was a convenient place for us
all to be in the same place. We saw the guys from Brighten (
which if i'm not mistaken, their album comes out this week.
Its an amazing record, called Kind Vs. Queen. check it out).
But we saw tons of other friends, the mutemath guys, hanson,
richard swift briefly. And we played right after Mew on
saturday night. Yall, they were SO good. If you haven't seen
them live yet, you have to see them. Both me and Weston
agree that is was the best show we've ever seen in out lives...
And we've been to a lot of shows. They played amazingly,
sounded amazing. I'm sure it helps that they were already one
of our favorite bands, but still... It was good.
But, now that all that craziness is over, we are back at home.
But we're busy working out everything to get this dang ol'
record released to y'all. i hope you like it.
