RECORDING SESSIONS. Wed. August 6th. (more pics)

Wednesday August 6
It's 4:20pm. The girls are at A&M with John Shanks finishing guitars and
vocals on Silver Bugs and Brightly Wound. (dropped them off at 1:00pm)
This morning, we got up at 8:30am (well, the girls did..and I did)...we
had to be ready by 10:00 to go with Darin to PUMA for some
publicity stuff....which translates into shoes for Eisley. So, we met Darin
at Jamba Juice and got our usual "boost" of vitamns or fiber or immunity
or whatever and headed to Puma.
At Puma we met the main guy from the UK named Christian - who
greeted the band, took photos for their wall. (I saw Dave Growl with his
new wife...that's the only one that caught my eye; I wouldn't know Good
Charlotte from 50cents) Anyway, they were super nice and well...eisley
walked away very shoed. That's all I'm saying.
We dropped the girls off at the studio and came here. That's as boring as
the day has been. I'm working and we're starving. Not sure how long the
girls will be required. It's the last day. Tomorrow we meet with some lady
producer who wanted to meet them (produced Pink) and the producer of
Muse - who emailed me a week before Coachella - and met us there.
He's a super cool, young guy.
This is boring. You know it, I know it and the american woman (should)
get away from me...bye bye...bye bye....

Wrap Up
It's now almost 1:00am. The girls finished recording with John around
6:45 or 7:00pm... I think they finished everything and I think that John
Shanks just has to do some mixing or editing or comping and we'll get
the finish product in the mail next week or something. It's been an amazing two weeks.
We had dinner with Eisley's support team at Universal Studio's
Center...(some restaurant - this whole place is something like Biff World
or Mulan Rouge and no, I don't know how to spell it) thanks to Craig and
WB, and came back to the hotel where Weston and Jon have been
packing. Our newfound LA friends Richard and Chris were next door with
freinds so they called us to say goodbye. I met them outside with an
Eisley CD (they'd asked for it but kept leaving it). We're leaving
tomorrow... will be glad to fly back home although it appears more
recording will resume in Sept. I might not have time to post tomorrow.
Meetings for coffee at 10:00am with management and then at WB offices
at 11:30 and we leave for airport tomorrow afternoon.
Gunite and thanks for tuning in everybody. Hope it didn't get too boring
although I know it did and you're a liar if you ever disagree with me or
cross me. Remember. - "This...is my Xanga".
