Eisley did win!
I saw the UGO clip. Interesting. It doesn't really say much, unless I wasn't looking in the right place, but it pretty much says Eisley won. Anyway, here's the link. Eisley's clip is the 2nd down. There might be a page they load despite your insistence to click this link. Wait for that page to load and then click this link again:

However:
In case you couldn't see it - either because the encoding was blurrier than a digital yetti in a pixel, snow storm OR because you have a newer Mac (mac users have to download WMP if you don't have it - and that requires stuffit expander to open the installer if you don't have it... then, reboot and retry).
Anyway, I thought I'd toss the fatter file on line. I think my volume is too low. sorry... It's hack and the girls were super tired... it's all i could get done in one night. Thank You again. Thanks UGO.

"We are sorry but voting has ended.
We will announce the winner shortly."
But what did we win? I can't wait... Scroll down to find out.
BE SURE TO DRINK MORE OVALTINE
If all any of the band's get out of this is a "Crummy Commercial", it'll still be a great memory... one I won't soon forget. (wait. Christmas Story ref. but you know that, right?) There's no way to express how thankful we are to you guys. That even sounds cheap. And I don't really have much to give back, but...
Tiny offering of Thanks
I dug around for something because I promised I'd give you guys some small treasure. I picked this one because it reminds me of this time of year... I've been holding on to it for centuries. Well, since 2002. It's nothing flashy or super high quality, but it's a buried song that only a handful of early MossEisley fans have heard. "Lullaby".
Best of my knowledge - the band played this song live - probably less than 10 times. The first time I heard it was their show at Andy's Bar and Grill in Denton - their first club date ever. Reference early Eisley video of the band with Midlake and friends at that same show. (yes, Midlake got them their first club gig)
Lullaby
This is live... unrehearsed, no editing... they were hanging out in a studio in 2002 and played this tune along with others - searching for songs for their early ep's.
Hey. Thanks so much for voting for Eisley. I'm not sure what happened tonight... but the voting must have picked up 'cuz we jumped from like 40% or someting to 60%. Ya'll are crazy. The band was freaking out... just shaking their heads. I'm sure we'll talking about this one for a long time... ha ha..
Well, the new year is coming here in Texas. gotta go. thanks!! and...
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
boyd
P.S. How 'bout them Dittybops! I was glad to see them in 2nd place. label-mates, you know - same A&R. If you like their songs, let 'em know.
