I W P CLIP:
Minimalism. Fly on the Wall. no hype clip
This is a teaser. Not the real video. It's just film taken from the day of the shoot. The purpose is NOT to give away what the real video is about.
In fact, it's not over-thought, it's not exciting, it doesn't give anything
away, there are no interviews, but you'll feel like you were there.

ATTENTION PC USERS. MAC HAS FORGED AHEAD WITH NEWLY ENCODED
QuickTime UPGRADES: Upgrade QuickTime on your PC
Otherwise, you might only hear audio. Download and install. hey, you
need to do this anyway... to feel like you're in the know on Mac
stuff... so you can act pretty cool on your playground during recess.
(QT 7.0.1 update for PC’s. It’s a preview...The real upgrade is coming.
But Thomas tested it out. Before he downloaded, he couldn't watch my
movie. After, he had no problem. This is just an advanced warning.)
This Clip
I think I was inspired by the expansive, spacious warehouse/studio
this video was shot in. I obsessed over all the cool movie gear being
sillouetted against the lights. I knew the band hated to be interviews, and
though you might have enjoyed that, it just seemed too commercial. This
film is shot in space. I wanted to capture that sterile, mod, 60's energy. I
wanted you to see Marvin... see the band, get a sense of the
environment this was shot in, see Rick Devoe n team... (their new
management), see Chauntelle looking like Barbie and... most important,
see what they had for breakfast.

This is probably a fraction of the footage I shot from that day. If I have
time and you like this, I might do another one. No promises. Thanks,
boyd
-------------------------------------------
I don't know if I mentioned it on this page, but there are about 50 people
working on this video... all friends, collegues of Marvin. This would have
been unafordable if they'd charged real market prices. This is called,
"pulling in the favors". Eisley was the benefactor of such grace... thanks
to Marvin and team... and their love for art. Thanks again to everyone
who worked on this video. Even though it's not some big fancy, slick
piece, it's going to be cool... Boyd
