Would somebody give us a round of applause for completing the course?
I don't know what grade we get, but we went to class everyday and gave it all we had. It feels like graduation day. In a few hours, we'll point the van and beat up trailer full of 12 people due West and drive for 3 hours before heading North West toward East Texas. The way I have it figured, we'll pull up into the Vineyard parking lot at 7:30am right before Kim does - to return to our normal life - helping her with the music at our very rocking church with great coffee, great couches and great people. We'll look like crap, but we're totally up for it.
HOB Show in New Orleans
Woah. What a crazy crowd. Crazy. They were yelling and chanting things before the show ever started... I couldn't figure out what. But there HAD to be Eisley fans here. I was so shocked at the response. Honest... you ready for this? I think this crowd rivaled the best of only a handful of shows that qualify as SUPER-DOOPER Eisley Response Shows. I'd say just under Dallas. Does anyone have a clue why? Maybe they were just hyped to be at a show. It was freakish; fans were raising the rock sign and screaming.... loud. Thank You New Orleans. You made Eisley feel so welcome and loved. We were here for the Voo-Doo Fest with Snow Patrol, but beyond that, Eisely has never darkened the city doors, though I am a native. Yes, born here. Raised in Lafayette till 15. We're totally cajuns... come on sha' - Du Pree? what choo tinkin?
Ok. Gotta settle, take care of business; nfg is almost finished. I appreciate you guys SO much. I can't express HOW much. I have to say, in the spirit of "the last day of high school", I love you all... stay the same forever. Never change.
oh, and, remember me.
and... miss me.
The End.
