much much much more:

Many Funerals:
This isn't necessarily the tightest version I could find of this tune. In fact, it's not spectacular in the realm of production perfection... but, to me, this song isn't about perfection. It's about realizing that life is a vapor. "We should take more chances.."

Hi everyone. I miss my wife and family. Well, the ones here with me - I don't miss so much. But, we just traveled 5280 miles from Norfolk, Virginia to here in Athens, Georgia. Actually, I sorta do miss them. They were way in the back of the van sleeping all day. Woo Hoo!! Houston - then Dallas! (home base; well sorta) Dang... how many times has Eisley played the Gypsy Ballroom this year? Too many to count.

Btw. Eisley is playing a rare one off gig on December 18th in Plano with a bunch of other Dallas bands... not sure which one. I heard a rumor, one was Rocket Summer. Anyway, it's a Buzz Oven gig. All AGES!! amazing, right? Anyway... spread the word. Eisley hasn't played an all ages show in Dallas since they headlined (sold out) Tree's several years ago.

The Norva show was pretty wonderful... To ME. I can't vouch for all ya'lls ears, but... somebody was really getting it. A lot of ya'll were very, very tuned in. I thought the show pretty much ruled. It was like the band was in Dallas or somewhere where people really loved them. Thanks Norfolkians and all you people who drove a long, long way. (i know this to be true)

I'll try to go on a new photobenge now. First I have to find some hi-speed.
later.

Soorry... the link didn't work for a few minutes after I posted it. It's fine now. btw. Eisley will come to Nashville on the next tour... that's next year. Spring. You can thank me for that addition to the route. After everything was routed, I whined about Nashville not being on the tour. bd

That song is amazing. Rhyming "chances" with "caskets"; oh my gosh. Genius. So cool. So bloody cool.
