You guys both know (both of you) that I've posted a zillion live accounts of this song. I'm not claiming that this one is any better. In fact, it might be roughter. But I don't really care. New fans might not dig back far enough to access these anchient, entombed artifactual melodies.

This is just something to frustrate us. Pieces of songs... but my point was to show you Eisley's grand introduction. I just think it's stupid funny. "Where's Weston?" As per my journal, the more boggles the band made - the more the crowd responded. I don't get it... but you Georgian's were rad.

The Road Seems Very Hard
But that might be the voice of a weary madman. Do tell.

We're now somewhere in Alabama after driving 150 miles tonight. Yes!! Night pirates of the road ways. We rolled in - literally - to some Sleep Inn. I have no clue what town. It's 5:00am to us but we cruised back into Central about an hr back so it's only 4:00am here. We're shot... we've been doing this every night and driving all day. Tomorrow we have 750 miles left if we want to reach Houston by 2-3am. See what you're missing by not being in a rock band? But i feel more sorry for Stacy and Sherri - who are about beat to smithereens from sitting in that back bench - where every bump sends you into the ceiling. No... man; seriously, it's luxurious. And everyone is rich from their $20 bucks a day per deim. Loaded with money, sleep and bs.

Athens Show!
Anyway. The night in Athens was fun. The band got off to a wobbly start when Weston walked off stage (after getting line check on drums) - looking for his bandmates; At the same time, his bandmates came on stage from stage left. Sherri had to yell... "where's our drummer" or something, followed by "WESTON!!"... as if she were calling upstairs when he's in his bedroom. It was funny and served as an ice-breaker which set up a bit of levity throughout the set... especially when Weston boggled the Telescope Eyes fill (something I've never heard him do). Sherri laughed again. The band boon doggled so many things last night... but even they didn't seem to be effected by it. Can anyone explain to me - why the crowd cheered louder and showed more love - the more Eisley goofed up here and there? It was actually insane.

Anyway, thank you Atlanta/Athens crowd for being very awesome. I'll try to post a movie or something from tonight's show. It was funny. And I have coffee pics and such nonsense to produce and post. Thanks. I'm shot. Completely shot. I'm not kidding. But I'm not complaining. i'm NOT!!!! shut up. boo. sit down. g'nite. g'morning. i'm now under the covers. go away... we leave at the high crack of noon. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I think all the sound issues you spoke of earlier were long gone. And of course the crowd was great, it's the South - we're friendly people.

Though I did have the distinct pleasure of standing right between the uber-fans who shouted "You own Switchfoot" & the guys who would have made snide remarks at the Beatles in order to get to Switchfoot's act.

Anywho, great show.

Please, please, please come back to Athens/Greenville/Charleston on the Spring Tour!

Hey Boyd, the concert Eisley put on in Athens was absolutely amazing! Eisley is by far my favorite band and seeing them live was incredible. I can empathize about how touring must really take it's toll, but as one of Eisley's fans I want to let you know how much it's appreciated. So keep rocking, stay safe, and I hope you find joy in all you do. - Justin

Your show rocked. My sis and I couldn't wait to get tix - we started trying before they were even for sale! I'm so glad you guys came to Athens - absolutely loved having it at the 40 watt - small venues are excellent. Enjoyed hearing the new tune and can't wait til you guys get to tour on your own! p.s. i've been singin' your tunes all week at work - totally rockin' show - good job, guys!
