More Pics 4 U here:
I know there aren't any live pics. It was pretty dark and I tried, but nothing came out. However, I have video... lots of juicy video. Whether I'll have time to make any in the next day or so is another question, but I should, because the Houston show probably sounded the best of any show on this tour - simply because it was a music hall auditorium. Thanks all. boyd
IT'S GOING TO ROCK TONIGHT!!
I have many pics and will work this up on the road - hopefully tomorrow... which is whenever - on the way to Phoenix. thnx for your patience. bd
There's more journaling but no pics yet:

And I was right. It was the best show.... and the best sounding show of this tour. Fun night... family and friends. The love between the bands has grown to a heightened level. This tour is incredible. Well, it's late and i have to get up early so... i'll work on pics while we're heading toward Phoenix. I'm swamped right now. Tomorrow is a drive day... day of show. Talk soon. Thanks HOUSTON for coming out and showing such support. I have film to go thru and pics... boyd

Pretty stoked about tonight's show. I think there's a lot of love for both Eisley and Switchfoot in this area. How do I know? I have my ways. I know, for example...that tons of Eisley/Switchfoot fans got the hook up to get tickets on the front end here at the Stafford Centre. The advanced tickets sold out within the first day. Still... I know you understand, Eisley's fan is a tiny drop in the ocean compared to Switchfoot's crowd. I'm just hoping there's a little ruckus for the originally from Houston Band.
Actually, if it rocks, it'll probably be because of you guys. It's in a "civic center"... like no pit. No pit at all. 100% assigned seating. You'll have to rock out from your chair. We've played a few of these kinds of venues... it's very different. Like an old fashion "concert"... not a show. I have NO idea what to expect - except that Eisley will still be in the awkward spot of having no set up or line check; Eisley tends to look like a garage band in comparison. Switchfoot will probably bring down the house. They are very, very amazing. But...it's all good. Eisley is not king of live production... YET. Next year, things will step up a little. It's never going to be some over the top production. They're too organic for that. But there's a lot of room for growth. And that's the fun part.
We're here in Houston! err, Sugarland, at Garron's house! We drove almost 800 miles - starting at NOON - to arrive here around 2:00am (Texas time). It was awesome. They fed us chicken and dumpling soup and brownies. So rad. Then we stayed up till almost 4:00am, I uploaded the videos for Athens and crashed around 5:30am, got up at 10:00am.
Garrons mom (my sister in law), Parish, made home made waffles and omlettes for every one as they drug in. I've been working on images and the journal non-stop since this morning. John A woke up around noon and went off to fix our fuel filter that almost killed us last night. Now Wade (Garron's dad, my brother - the freakishlyh stupid guitar player) and Mark are being smart guys with pedals, amps, guitars, etc. It's so cool when smart, musically savvy guys put their brains together.
We've got an hr before we need to head off to the venue. I'm sleepy. There's great coffee here. I have to go now. BoydMO. bd

You're figuring out my game. I have to build these. It's like juggling. It's really hard to keep all the chainsaws in the air. This post will move down as I get hotter, newer content to lay on top... so that each journal reads in reverse chronology - or, the most recent is at the top.
