HOME
It's great being home. No. You have no idea. But that's not the subject. I.. I... Look, I came on here out of my own free will. I came here today because I have something to tell you. Sadly...

Sadly, nah, just kidding. I have nothing really important to tell you. But you deserve the best post that money can buy...so here goes:

UGO to Announce Soon
UGO IS going to announce a winner. In fact, someone I know... (whistles, stirs dirt with foot) is working on a little clip for said web entity. At some point soon... very, very soon, they'll feature it on UGO.com. I am not announcing anything. You saw the site...they'll be announcing the winner real soon.

Caught in a loop
Dang. I've started to throw down words many times all week while I'm working on other graphic projects. I'll save some fat file and think - oh, I'll post something on my dumb journal; I get several sentences and get interrupted. When I return, I'm not signed in and I blow it off. It's already happened twice on tHIS post. (that video is sucking my fumes)

I did it again. Lost connection because the dv file was cooked and I had to compress a bit to get that whiny hiss out of there. (my cheap camera. you can hear the motor or windy thing going...)

BREWTONES tonight
We're very excited. Friends, music, coffee, fun. Come if you can. We can only hold about 300. If we have 300 and no more, I'll be perfectly happy. If we have 350.... ahh, what the heck, we'll let 'em in. If we have 400, I'll be very unhappy cuz people will get turned away. No way we'll have that many though. Maybe 200. Details on brewtones.com

New Material/New Record
Well, the band has to turn in their goods on Monday. Yes. Delicious new songs. Songs you won't hear for a long, long, long time. STOP!! think again... don't be so negative. jk. If you come to see the band in Spring, you will see. Oh you will see. Oh you will hear.

No, i'm not boasting. It's just... in a smart ellicky kind of way, I've heard the songs... you haven't. It's that simple. I'm being utterly utterful. brb.

Producer
So glad to announce that all of the members of Creed are going to produce Eisley's next record. jk. There's no news. You guys who were on board on Eisley's first project... even the ep's - remember this process. You have lots of variables. Timing (who can do it when?), cost (what kind of record will the band turn in? - hit singles or eisley songs Smile, who is the most passionate? (who wants it so bad they'd sell their soul to the Foggy Mountain Boys to produce it), who does the BAND want?, who does their A&R want? Who does their management thing is best? What will they all decide after they put their heads together? What do I say? (pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!!). Anywayz, you get the idea. This process isn't so simple but I will leave you with a thought... Eisley will get to make the record they want to make this time.

Spring Tour
I'm building the poster/ad mat for this tour right now. It's... it's... well, i like it. I think you will too. I'm sorry the dates haven't all come in yet. ANY DAY!!! I said that weeks ago. But really... any day.

I will add to this during the day but have to get back to work... stay tuned...

no but really haha you had me going there, i thought someone else was dropping out of the band with that "sad sad news" business. thanks for shaving 10 years off of my life!
wow i am excited! aaron sprinkle, the fans say? nah... it doesn't matter, but WHOEVER it is i am stoked that eisley will get to do what THEY want this time. don't get me wrong, room noises still blows me away and is definetely in my top 10 of all time, but you can tell that there is just something lingering above it as you listen... inhibition maybe? still.... room noises is rich, dark, steamy, roasted goodness.
the next album is going to be pure unadulterated eisley so hoo-RAH!

BrewTones
The show was a good one. It was a real good wun. I guess we were sorta shocked at the outcome. It was like old times mixed with new times. sorry. tallking BrewTones. There were 300+, the bands were amazing, old friends, new friends... blah, blah, blah... the band was there, though they probably blended so well, i don't know if anyone ever saw them. And that might have been good. They felt normal, which they are, and just hung out like old times.
It was a wonderful evening. Thanks for whoever came or whoever couldn't come or whoever, whoever. Thanks to John from this forum who came and helped us set up and breakdown.

On UGO... uhh, tomorrow.
