Reasonable Resolves
High Expectations - Random Subjections
Series entitled: Quick... do something; anything. Post some more pics.
Weston was suddenly reduced to height of a stump today when Sherri cut him down to size. When asked why, Sherri replied, "Well, he was so super tall... it wasn't really fair, you know. He got everything - looks, height, drumming, humor..." We asked her why he was left with only a towel, she replied, "Because I couldn't leave him high, but dry".

Moments later, Sherri couldn't look the camera in the eye... eat'n up with guilt, she wus, she was... eatn' up with guilt, she wuz.
But, Chauntelle's classic "On Line Face" kept her far, far removed from the trauma playing out between her younger siblings.
Stacy, oblivious, was immersed in writing Trombone parts on the MidiBone Replicator 6000 by Tromb0matic during the event... and never looked up. I kept hearing her mutter: "Thundering, Thundering... Louder than before..."
Garron just kept playing In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida... the whole album...YES; and, just that one riff! I believe it was his way of dealing with the fact that he had just become the tallest Eisley; would he ever really feel like he was the tallest, inside?
Weston, mini-sized by sibling on-slaughter, grimaces over 5 feet lost.
Speaking of "Lost", focus on this beam of light - then think of Lock... and the hatch; then think of the song, "Invasion".
I call this image: "Handsome Architecture with glass and light".
Eisley commonly takes warm dips in the foreground to unwind. Luckily in this shot, they used green screen paint to make them invisible.
During the day, the rhythm section is hard at work... they keep asking Richard, "so are we done?"
I won't let you forget Point Dume, or it's scenic overview.
Or how Richard took care of them by feeding them salad that his wonderful wife made.
Or how Richard skillfully played the T-bone part that Stacy wrote.
And forced Eisley to play the Doink-0-tron Globula (doink' oh tron Glob' u lah'). (don't go there:-)
And another version: the GlangaDora - affectionately called, The Thumper-Doody by the jungle Bizantines.
Here's a sweet little amp... one your mom might let you take home, but would regret...ONE SPEAKER? It goes to eleventy eight.
One or Two or Three. you pick: 1. I called the company name (above) and told them my "BHAG" - (big hairy audacious goal - that's something i read in an advertising book once)... to launch a new campaign called, "Gotta Getta Gretsch". I heard a click right after that, but I think it was the secretary hurrying up and calling the president of the company to lie to him that she had a great new slogan idea. 2. It's the headstock of Chauntelle's: "6129 Gretsch Duo Jet (Champagne sparkle jet)" 3. It's the headstock of Chauntelle's: "6129 Gretsch Duo Jet (Champagne sparkle jet) in black and white."
The little slumpy had worked hard that halloweenie day. She was poopified. She was so tired, that she...was... well, so very tired.
You don't wanna mess with this one... her bark is all bite. Oh, yeah? Then where is the other 5 feet of Weston?
Tracking all 12 Strings.
Tracking a guitar so powerful, it makes Chauntelle weak and pale.
Tonight we heard a Rough Mix on ...
I can't tell you the name of the song. Sorry. But! ... if you'd pay me a millyun dollerz, I probly would. I'd probly even do it for tin thausund dollerz. Heck... pay me in Balinesian, and I'll give you the answer for just one healthy cow.
OK. back to this song... it's called "j5h-doop_jib8tbr549" (please type in the letters you see here for security); naw, just kiddin'. I don't know the name of it. HONEST. I don't. I (crosses legs)... I... ok, YES, I had the demo version forever... but I purposely blocked the name out of my head. Man, speaking of, I head-dug that one right out of my carnivor. wow wee.
I can't tell you about the song, but it was a wonderful combination of 60's Wunkadelia and Man-tronica - penned in Eislonic Pentameter in the key of R. I loved it yall!! I wooped it up like a big ole greazy Yule Tide. Yes... I shreiked like a little baby pig-boar (not a man-boar). Nite. I'm not done, but I'm listing to the keyboard. More tomorrow. Nite.

SUNDAY NOVEMBER 5, 2006
We're at the Promenade in Santa Monica... Actually at a Sketcher's. This the place their video was playing one time when we were in here. Some girl just walked up and asked me how old I was.... She was impressed I had a sidekick. Funny. Anyway, Kim is with us... So we had to come back to this place. Those two long haired dudes with the chucks and acoustic giutars are worth coming for... I see them eevery time. Rippimg rhythms and leads with blistering 32nd note scales... They should have accomapnying players at the Dave Mathews calibur.... Start a flaminco jam band with a Calexeco indie flair... And end up making $1000's more than they're making playing festivals. I would be their managers, of course... And brand them. I think I'll name them: 'Latana Brothers' until they get big.. Then shorten to 'Latana' (combination of Latin and Santana). Ok... I doh-gressed.
REASONABLE RESOLVES
My reasonable resolve was to star another post.
HIGH EXPECTATIONS
The difficulty in authoring a journal that chronicals "the making of" without being able to sample what they're making is proving to be a challenge.
I end up using words like I did at 2am this morning and sounding brain damaged. (Well...) The images seem somewhat valuable in giving you guys a glimpse into this project... But my words are falling way short. I'm careful not to describe, in vivid detail, each new song. I don't want to be guilty of releasing the "word" version of this record. What a disappointment that would be.
RANDOM SUBJECTIONS
Records are about 3 things: The Artist, The collection of songs and the "Production". You already know the artist so I don't see the point in going there. The songs - well, let's see how many you might guess... "Many Funerals", "Like the Actors", "I Could Be There for You", "Invasion" and "Taking Control". You guessed it. Amazing. But guys... That's 5 songs out of 12 that will be on this record. Close to half. You've heard them in their infancy so... You should expect to feel a bit overwhelmed in April.
Did I say April? Again.... Sherri ties the knot in February... Some kind of possible Aussie or Japan tour (not in stone) followed by a bunch of promotion that labels call "setting up a record". It involves the band... Like in stores, signings, radio shows, etc.
Then, in April.. I assume early, the record drops... Followed by rigorous touring.
More on the songs. I need to push this button so I don't lose it. Sorry about sidekick typo's an blunders. It's a tight keyboard, but.... U know... Thanks. Boyd
