Novermber 21, Lawrence, Kansas

I HAVE MORE FOR IN THE MORNING, BUT I CAN'T HOLD MY
TURTLE NECK UP AND AM FALLING ASLEEP. 3:15AM
-----------------

Liberty Hall

It's only 1:40am, but for those of us driving in in the morning, it's very
late. We just got back to the hotel after a bunch of hanging out, talking to
fans, listening to the other bands.

All I can say is - Eisley thanks Kansas for giving them such a warm,
friendly, enthusiastic response. I think that was one of the best shows in
terms of the venue, the crowd, the mix and the performance. Well,
maybe in the top 5 shows at least. It's so hard for me to undersand -
one town gets it and another one doesn't; What's happening? Kansas city
is a place to come back to for sure.

Tonight was the first time they added, "They all surrounded me" to their
set list - and they've been cheating time by starting 5 minutes early.
Other wild card song has been, "Sun Feet".

Tomorrow we leave for Chicago - the band does a live taping both nights
I believe...like for a dvd or something. Should be fun.

I can't think to write. I'm going to bed and hopefully I will get you up in
the morning. More details to come. BTW. - I posted images on San
Francisco. Or, I uploaded them....haven't checked the code or to see if
they even appear...(no time, leaving hotel now in Lawrence for 10 hour
drive) bd

Eisley with Brand New
I went to see Eisley at the House of Blues in Hollywood in CA and as soon as I heard their music I liked it. They are a very unique group and it's a good thing because you don't find many music groups like them. I hope they continue making music and they can count with my support and as one of their fans. Cool

Thoroughly impressed.
Hey, I'm Christian. I'm a girl. Do not let the gender specific name lead you astray. I just wanted to give Eisley some feedback. I went to the Lawrence, KS show, admittedly, to see Brand New and Hot Rod Circuit. I'd never heard of Eisley before, and by the end of the set, I was a fan. The vocals are beautifully unique and they have stage presence like I haven't seen in a long time. I like how most of the lyrics aren't about scorned love and other teen angst-like issues. It's very refreshing. I bought both Eps (Laughing City was very hard to find because I didn't buy it at the show!). I didn't get to meet them because I had a kickass spot and didn't want to lose it (it's a dog eat dog world in the concert scene). I wish I could have, but the next best thing is to visit the website right? Eisley was very insistent that we all go to their site, so I figured I would I oblige them. I came here and devoured all the Eisley band info I could find (love the drawings by the way) And I love what they stand for, families and love should rule and its rare to see such a functioning example in this instant gratification age (I don't want to get started on that, I have a whole theory.)

I hope you guys do come back to the Lawrence Ks/KC area. Eisley definitely impressed everyone I've talked to. The concert scene around here (Lawrence/KC) really does appreciate a variety of talented genres of music, unlike other regions of the States which vary their tastes depending on what is trendy, which would explain why some venues are into you and some aren't (some folks are just haters). So, moral of the post, come back! We like you. You are welcome. And, also, I know that band Civella (I'm Rich's sister, Colby) and you should take them up on their offer. They are snazzy.
