Eisley's Tiny Texas Tour

FINAL SHOWS FOR 2003 - EISLEY WON'T
RETURN LIVE UNTIL SPRING 04

I'm posting this here also just because some of you won't be checking
Eisley blog. This is sort of a late breaking bit of news, so...thought you
guys would want to know; even if you're from other states, you might
be visiting relatives in Texas, right?! (oh, and...this project stole my time
away from finishing the pics on this section; but I had to promote the tour
first. Sorry. I'll get to it asap. I have Seattle, Salt Lake and Boulder up))

For you Forum frequenters that don't go to eisley.com, you might have
missed the pop-up window with links to posters for each date. So you
guys will know, Eisley is actually headlining... crazy, huh? That means
lots and lots of songs. Not sure how long their set length is. But we'll have
just returned from LA for a week of pre-production, so perhaps there'll be
some very new stuff on the set list. cool.

Here's the schedule:

Houston - The Engine Room - December 29th
$10.00 Doors open at 8:00 - all ages (600 capacity)
Eisley, Radiant - TBA

Austin - Stubbs Bar-B-Que - December30th
$10.00 Doors open at 9:00 - all ages (350 capacity - indoors)
Eisley, Radiant, TBA

Dallas - Trees - December 31
$20.00 Doors open at 8:00 - 17+ (850 capacity)
note: this is not a 97.1 New Years Eve Bash as was indicated prior.
Eisley, Radiant, The Vanished

Here are links to B&W posters. I might print up some color ones to hand
out at the shows if I have time... feel free to download and print out and
plaster around if you want. Thanks. Boyd

Hmmm...I just called the Eagle in Dallas and they said that none of these bands were playing for them at Trees on New Years Eve. I'm so confused Sad

The show in Dallas isn't all ages....it's 17+, so...yah, it will totally bring in the New Year. It's 97.1 Rock show... billed as a New Year's bash...

We'll all hang out way too late, I'm sure. The others will be earlier, I presume; not sure about curfew.

oh, i thought it was all ages cause that what it says for all three shows under your initial post

Will check in to the Eagle's sponsorship, but if you go to Tree's website, they own that date and call it their New Years Eve bash. To my knowledge, the Edge is the only station that has Eisley in regular rotation; I dunno, but I'm pretty sure it's real. The show is real, regardless.

thanx.

well....the band will be embedded into the confines of some practice room buried in the paved tapestry of road ladened, people infested, parking deficient Hollywood locale...working fevorishly with Rob to craft out final LP songs....with little time to even breath before we fly back for the "Tiny Texas Tour". But perhaps when we're back for months first of the year, a meal or hang out time could happen. I don't know how tough their schedule will be. bd

Thanks Boyd

I was just wishful thinking

Hey, I, too, would love to hang with the Eisley in L.A., but yeah, I'm sure they'll be way too busy. Good luck with the pre-production. Are they gonna be in Burbank or Hollywood??

At Laguardia Intl today while waiting to come back to Texas, read the new Spin and Eisley is mentioned by Liz Phair. Thought you'd all like to know.
