I am actively digging for a clip or 2... a song or two from
a tour or two ago. It will be my small Happy New Year
offering. And now, time to roll 'em. I'll toss it here when
I'm done. And you'll all say, "huzzah... it's boyd and he's

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
We had an amazing night; very similar to the nights in New Years past: Concord white sparkling grape Juice, lots of snacks, dips and friends. After our toast and kisses, we're all just hanging out. Kim and I are on the last disc of Season 3 LOST. Charlie just swam into the underground DHARMA tank. ahhh!!! I know what happens because COLLIN told us. grrrr.

I'm doing the encoding on a few clips... easy to find, grab, edit, turn into a fat dv file. But the QT conversion.... ahhh!!! (lots of screaming tonight) Anyway, the stuff i have is no big deal. I mean, they're live acoustic tunes and the audio is pretty sweet for a hand held, crappy, Sony video camera. I'll need longer to dig out the good stuff... but i'll certainly put this on line. thnx. be back later.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! - what a beautiful blue-sky day in East Texas. We had a low of 30º but it'll be up to 50º high, back down to 25º tonight. I'm boyd dupree and that's... the weather. More music soon. (comercial break. scratch that. coffee break)

Back. 2 hrs at our home town SB's is about right if you're really going to do
a proper hang. You finally get bored and run out of things to say so you all say, "well, where do we want to eat...?". That's when I say, i wanna go home so i can finish this business; plus i had left-over Chinese. Hang on.

i've dug deep. listening to lots of pulled clips now deciding. no editing... just fade in's/fade out's and type at front - song and date, etc. Still, the Cave-Scribes from Boris Stalagmite Caverns have not come to me. I am spelunking solo. And if, when I come up, I am covered in Bats with butterfly wings, please grab a BB gun and shoot me as many times as it takes to free the suckers from my blood-chewed body.

that word reminds me of the cave ride that's now (at least last i knew it) the Yosemite Sam ride at Six Flags Over Texas. it used to be called The Spelunker Cave i believe and had non-trademarked little weird dudes throughout it.

That was my favorite ride when I was a kid. They don't have it anymore? Some of the spelunkers were getting killed by various hazzards, so maybe too violent for nowadays.

okay cace face.
i can't remember if i've said this before or not, because maybe i have. but i can't get over how much i love hearing chauntelle's voice. and i'm almost glad we had to wait that long to hear it because it makes it that much more amazing when we get the chance to. because i feel like i kind of take for granted hearing a pretty voice like that usually. i don't know. sounds kind of lame to say, but it's really special. and i appreciate that she's willing to sing for people now. i hope she knows how much people respond to that and that it is really nice of her to share that gift with people. (i swear i'm not always this cheesey, but i just watched the videos and they're so good, annnd i couldn't help it. hah.)

Great vids! I can't but think how proud you must feel every time the band takes the stage! Seeing and hearing Chauntelle sing brought tears to my eyes. Thank you!!
