The MidWestern Life

Little known fact - Eisley did an early morning live, acoustic song for "Good Day Chicago"
that I've never heard live, except for that day.

Re-hash-0-graphs
For newbies, these images are recent past status; aka - "Combinations" tour - April/May. Since I have nothing new to show you, I simply exhume old never-been-seen photographs and toss fresh words at you as if to hope you will be satisfied and moderately entertained. We also call these: "Stallations". i believe Sherri came up with that word.

BTW - the Good Day Chicago experience was perfectly pleasant and all my silly cut-line references (copy below photos - it's an old advertising term) were purely for my own entertainment. Pure folly. Everyone was super nice to us; there were no attitudes. It's just - images speak to me. Sorry. My favorite one though, is the shot where Sherri is looking directly into the camera and the biz peeps are pointing and commanding their TV turf; So telling... it's like sherri is saying, "it's early, i don't relate... and I'm perfectly ok with my decision to never be an anchor-person...".

Word on the Streets
What is the word on the streets? I don't know - I'm asking you. itunes hit the 5 billion sales mark only a week after Walmart discontinued CD sales, The Shins left SubPop after 3 record deal was up - (to go indie. no, i mean, indie - indie - as in they're going to put out their next record themselves); let's see... what else; Live Nation is signing more artists (Shakira) and will be hedging into TicketMaster's biz by year's end, Capitol has no CEO or president but is allegedly hiring a marketing dude from Proctor and Gamble (analysts wonder if we'll see Coldplay CD's in laundry detergent boxes), Lil' Wayne sold platinum first week (viral marketer. makes lots of free mix mp3's. bonus points), Coldplay slams a home run... wins back doubting fans (no, we did not doubt)... oh! - previously known Christian artist - Katy Perry, kisses a girl in the same way Madonna was touched for the very first time (explinnocence), Jessica Simpson doesn't strike out as Country girl (yet)... and Eisley are writing their guts out (wrenching) between slipping away for Starbuck's (closes 600 stores nation-wide) breaks and working out... and watching movies in bedrooms; and watching little brother turn 14... and made their mom make home-made ice cream (peach, vanilla and strawberry. 2 home-made toppings. oh yes.). 4th of July is coming. God love the USA. We hope.

werd.

Pics! No words

It was early. Now a blur. Something about TV personalities and bright lights and vivid colors.

Poised, Chauntelle strikes a poignant gaze that charms only the undeserving. Perhaps this
is the look of wisdom. Perhaps she has a new attitude.

The gulf between anchormen and artists will always be, twill be. Sherri's expression says it all. Smile

Artists do what they have to do... and smile and love their jobs. They're "kind of a big deal".

That night was the real gig. Chicago-ians are real Mid-Westerners.

Chauntelle is not sultry. She is just a rock star. Not in her own mind.

The Shelter is where something happened w/ M&M. I'm not sure what.Does it really matter? I'm sorry mama but - not to me. I dig this dad-dad-dadeeo, tho'.

Sherri expresses. Brick-drop is nice. Slim-shady represent.

Garron sings chorus of "Gimmie Shelter" to Eisley/M&M crowd.

Here, Stacy uses face to sing.

Some of you saw this most every night. her. Christie. Sherri grabs her. yanks her off stage. yep.

Sac-ro-men-toh shot. Rare. Blue book value = $25 gift certificate to any cool store as long
as the logo is green (brown version rated R)

wups... this one almost got away. It was rescued from the reject pile but hey - I'm dying here.

And now... i'm reaching. We're not in the Midwest anymore, Toto.

Weston, shown here was tripping on beige-shrooms. I told you my lens was jacked! The color looks funky.

Even if Mark kills me, he can't take down the following image. ha HA!! Besides - if this bit of bogus helps him snag a lady, it'll all be worth whatever embarrassment he suffers. Ladies (older ones) Mark is 30 but he honestly looks younger; AND - he has a grandmother who's 107 (no joke) so... yeah, it could be a long, long life together. Even if you're 10 years younger, he's going to outlive you. So... someone marry or at least ask him out on a date (girls only). He likes Indian food, all kinds of international foods, speaks one language, buys vintage math books, solves rubics cube in 30 seconds, is the most honest, caring person, considerate person on the planet; he's thin, muscular, wears black cargo pants, he's a great teacher, he's the hardest worker you'll ever find and believes that our dog Cleo doesn't know her name but i swear, she does and we prove him wrong over and over again. He likes movies, bookstores, fixing things, wires, amps, the digital world, is smart with computers, loves Mac's but currently owns a PC (Mac girls wanted), has mixed Eisley at huge amphitheaters, comes over for birthdays and barbeque's and any time he darn well wants. So... Marry Mark. Eisley will take resume's and review. Don't think he's easy. No way.

Parting Wacko-words
The new world is going to be strange. The industry is shifting. If you trip, you'll miss the fall. Stop being so anti-paradigimal. Biff-world is cracking up. Save the watch-tower. There's got to be a morning after. Go ahead - make my day. We're gonna need a bigger boat. My Mama always said, 'Life was like a box of chocolates; you never know what you're gonna get. You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn.

Will keep you posted.

Good info and photos. Thanks! I'll add that Viva L Vida just set a new record by selling more digitally downloaded albums than any album in history, and did it in just two weeks (354,000 digitally downloaded albums sold). Appears Walmart has seen the future.
