Merry Christmas All Ye (+ corrected "Drummer Boi")

Have yourselves a merry, merry Holiday. I snapped off a few Blackberry
pics a few minutes ago. Everyone is in the kitchen working. Some are less
likely to be snapped and I won't snap bf's and the likes. Sherri made a
pecan pie with rum also... no, like - just the fake flavoring. But I got drunk
off it anyway. Must have been the sugar.

There is so much to talk re: the band, songs, records, plans, etc. but
unfortunately for you guys - my new years resolution is to keep fans in the
dark... and to keep Eisley out of public eye from now and forever.... so
yeah, from now on you'll hungrier for what's next - like when an album
comes out or the band actually peeps out of their Tyler tomb for a tour. jk.
You know me better than that.

Cheers and Guzzel Eggnog! bd

It's a standing joke. we run out of "luxury towels"
and get so frustrated. They tried to fix the problem.

I might come back with a silly suprise clip later. Possibly more pics if i get
bored. Now I should go help the girls. cya!

I've been blessed this Christmas to listen over and over to a jillion new
eisley song demo's. Quite a plethara. I refuse to comment... that is - i
refuse to engage in hype. Omy.

Wanna see my background sceens on my monitors?

Still encoding a Christmas song for a clip. Will post today. bd

DRUMMER BOI - intro
Apologies for the bogus flash file. New cs4 Flash. I apparently imported 2
QT's to the stage (thus, the double audio). But this time around I also
uploaded to YouTube (see first file). Anyway - this is one of those lo-fi,
shot from the back of the room video clips. Sorry. The audio is lame...
very not an impressive production. Also the rhythm section is fairly sloppy;
ah well - one quick rehearsal and you try to get through it. Either way, we
had fun with it:

YouTube Version Note: i just uploaded at 12:45pm on 12.28

In case u haven't been to eisley's YouTube page since - for newbies - there are oldbie-vid's: here .

QT Version (flash - on our server)

The illustrations that accompanied Max & Sherri's gift are a hoot. Just in case you need to be reminded what to use it for.

The chord change in 'Little Drummer Boy' is one of the best in all of music, no foolin'. That ageless Mr. Traditional sure wrote a lot of memorable songs.

Correction: I just looked it up and found to my great surprise 'Little Drummer Boy' was written by Katherine K. Davis, Henry Onorati, and Harry Simeone - in 1958!! 'Blue Suede Shoes' is an older song than it! Sometimes they do make 'em like they used to.

Did some of the crowd decide to don their armor and go caroling regardless? I hope so, the world could use a little extra joy and cheer at this time.

It looks like you all had a wonderful Christmas! Now I know what I should have gotten my daughter for Christmas. TP comes in very handy indeed. LOL
The video was cool. I didn't look at the "players" until after I saw the video and I was wondering if that was Darren. I did a double take. Smile
You have an absolutely beautiful voice, Kim.

Glad you had a Merry Christmas and that you will have a blessed and prosperous New Year!!
