Eisley at Work

Hello again. Sorry for the non-com def com. The band has been working their ayez off on getting songs sounding magically delicious. Yours truly-Trolly has been working on a project that nearly torpedoed my own nuclear sub-vessel (10 hrs total of sleep from last last Friday till this morning at 6am) so there hasn't been much time for any of us be all bloggy. Twitter provides snippet-frequent updates and some of the band members have facebook profiles. We do what we can. The world is changing. We all say and hear all things. I'm starting to agree with many that there is just too much information in the information age.

Still... don't think slackered-ism is on the rise. I may be a brain-deranged lunk ... very lacking in physical fortitude from Navy-Seal-level sleep deprivation but I'm not about to stop documenting. Welcome to the medioric rise of a cyclopse on the wall. The photos are yawners but the music I heard sure woke me up.

THE BLACKROOM
(the walls are lit because i'm using a flash) The band set up in the concrete-floored room at Rosewood and are multi-tracking raw takes of all the songs as they work through pre-production. They're all on headphones, using our monitor board and system... pointed in toward each other... jamming out song after song. The vibe is contagious. I guess you figured out, album#3 is finally in progress. This is the real thing. No more awkward pauses. cya. ~ bd

Ohh nooo... If "#5" that you listed, Boyd, is (hopefully) a full-length album version of Head Against The Sky or They All Surrounded Me... my musical life will end happily Smile Actually, no matter the tracks, the album will be great and much needed with the musical drought these days :/

It's funny, but I was just thinking about you guys today and wondering what was happening on the Eisley front. You must have been reading my mind. I'm very much looking forward to hearing the final results.

Your reworked song titles are always a source of inspiration and humor - either that or the result of sleep deprivation. Get some sleep. Sweet dreams.

Your 10 hours of sleep for a week is encouraging me right now. : ) HHLLARGTMTD must be the longest titled Eisley song.

Holy retro t-shirts, the band is in action! {**POWER CHORD!**}

Just once I'd love to hear them write a song around one of your titles. Very Happy

re: Sherri's post, I'm glad she's becoming a bad influence on Stacy. Smile

I've been kicking myself because I meant to write {*KA-POWER CHORD!*} in my other post for the full Adam West/Burt Ward effect. These comments really need an edit function for us persnickety perfectionists! Or is that 'us pathetic proofreaders'?
