Sherri's very VOX for Sale (+edit1)

Thu Sep 03, 2009 6:58 pm

No assumption that this is important to anyone... just posting info in case.

UPDATES vs UP-BITS Note: http://twitter.com/Eisley is where up to date reporting as well as DM questions/answers are happening quite fluidly. Not saying blogs/journals are a thing of the past anymore than steak at a restaurant is less important than chicken strips at a fast food joint. Just sayin' - Twitter is immediate and updates are constant. When there is something lonnnnng and labbborrrrious to talk about, I'll tweet this as a link. Obviously, this forum is slowerizing due to rapidizement of new relational tools. The world is changing but let's not change unless it's to stop beating our wives and dogs. I hate it when i do that. Kim isn't afraid but Cleo, June & Bella run and hide.

VOX ACL
Sherri bought this amp on MossEisley's first shopping spree on WB's nickel back in 2003. She's played it on virtually every tour... Every show since then. She loves the amp; what a history... but hey... Vox never gave us an endorsement and the new Mesa sounds ridiculously better; Plus they HAVE given Eisley an endorsement. The vox is amazing... and it's been on the Coldplay tour all the way to current. Emotional to let it go.

It's late and I am typing on my iPhone; tomorrow I'll try to find some pics. If u guys have any or know of any, please post.

Assume we'll be putting this on eBay. Just giving you guys heads up first. If anyone is deeply interested, contact Todd thru his Twitter account: @laroseguitars ( http://twitter.com/LaRoseGuitars ) or thru his myspace ( http://www.myspace.com/laroseguitars ) or yell so so loud. I'll check this tomorrow in case there are questions I have not answered. Thanks. bd

There really isn't any more yet. I have to do this in order to get a specific url address that will load this very journal... otherwise, I'd have to use eisley.com/journals... and what would happen in a month from now if someone clicks on the link to find out about Sherri's amp for sale? They'd be all confused and p_s_d off.

You r hilarious fernster. i mean, we thought about just hanging on to all of this stuff but... what for. This way, we turn much needed floor space into dollars that can go back into new gear.

contact Todd. Not sure if he's put it on ebay yet. We've all been busy. I mean, at the end of the day, it's just an amp. Hollywood bowel, Madison Square Garden, a zillion sheds w/ Coldplay, the Fray... big wup. Sitting around the house... I just see it and think - it has grill cloth, knobs... looks cool and sounds great. ha ha.
