UPDATE I am being told WB is having the song taken down... like nowish. Tuesday at 8:30 pacific. I still don't understand what went wrong. They'll fix it soon. Meanwhile, download this if you want the song:

Away We Go - non-chipmunk version

Nnote: it's not like this is an important song. It is important that it's heard at the normal speed it was recorded in (garage band). Leave a comment about whatever if you please and thank you. Also, my guess is - the file will get fixed and you'll be able to dl the correct version from iTunes, etc.

Digital Blunder means: we all heard the Amazon preview of the Fire Kite ep. One of the song clips was jacked... Sped up; talking Chipmonk speed. I emailed wb last week about it... Never heard back. A knowledgeable fan said this was common w/ Amazon and not to worry. I was wrong not to worry.

It's now for sale in iTunes and Amazon that way. !@&?!#%! I emailed WB just moments ago (angry-angry) from the road (iPhone) and got back responses with tons of cc's who are "on it". Meanwhile Alvin and Theadore are alive on line. AhaahhHHH!!!

If I don't get a solution soon, I'm just going to put a link up on this page and give it away. We are on the road so I have no FTP access right now. Getting close to El Paso... Destination Las Cruces.

Will keep you posted on this massive digital blunder. Apologiies.

And Big Music wonders why people don't want to pay for their product anymore. That is piss poor, if you'll excuse my jive talkin'. I hope you channeled your fury in the most effective way that every American does - road rage!

Enjoying the EP, 'The Valley' is magnificent. Thanks for a speed-corrected version of 'Away We Go,' is this the marmot or the weasel version? But let's face it, there's simply no topping the squirrel take.

I'm digging "Away We Go" a lot, after getting over the chipmunk mishap. I love Ambulance, but I've been listening to Away We Go and The Valley most. Especially The Valley. Very loudly.

Ambulance: is heart-breakingly gorgeous . . . the words really resonate with me right now. Stacy always does bittersweet absolutely perfect. Props to crafting such a powerful song, I think its one of Eisley's best ever (now in my 3 way tie for fave. Eisley song with Golly Sandra and ICBTFY).

The Valley: This is super catchy, different, and I'm really enjoying it . . . "till everything is fine" . . . love the strings @ the beginning, nice touch.

192 Days: Lovin' the lyrics on this one . . . can't wait to hear the finished version. The old-school Andrews Sisters vibe is working great for me!!

Away We Go: gonna listen to the non-chipmunk version before I write on this one, but it already sounds promising sped up haha!

I am pretty sure (guilty of downloading the EP late) that the version on Itunes is now fixed, cause I bought the whole EP, and then Downloaded Boyd's link and they are the same, with the EP version 5 seconds slower.

Yup, just replayed the sped up amazon Intro Congrats Folks, Itunes has the right version now

Whoever the manager is for this band, They're top notch to get that fixed!
