Welcome, young padawan. What is "2/12,"?
The forum has been over this before. No one really has a clear understanding. Much of today's music is so diverse, it is difficult to fit it into any category. The group does not call themselves a Christian band, even though all their members are Christian. Certainly their lyrics cannot be called Christian. I think we can all respect that. They are obviously not rap or hip-hop, yet. Pop is a category for music that is popular. I don't feel they really fit that since I know tons of people who still haven't even heard of Eisley. Their album only debuted at about 198 out of 200. Indie seems pretty safe. There was a poll here recently and many people here call it magical. The majority said Eisley is above categories. They really are limiting, and are best used to describe artists that have already limited themselves. I'll try to find the poll for you. There are many replies.
