I love Silver Bugs as well! But I think it is very unlikely that they will record that song. They don't play it in their live shows anymore. _________________ - Jessica ------------------------------------------------------- "So many bands are like painters standing in front of their paintings going, 'Look at me, I did this.' I too am a Silver Bugs fan. I'm glad I got to hear it a handful of times live, because I fear it'll never see the light of day again P. _________________ "Enjoy Every Sandwich" - Warren Zevon "What's Life Without Music?" - The Mermaid Purse www.myspace.com/ptah |

the new site (next record) will have a complete library of every song imaginable and tons and tons of performances, including audio clips and video clips ever archived... plus more. The songs you mentioned here have all been recorded. I'll try to put a bug in the label's ear to see if we might consider any more digital releases between now and the next record. I think it depends on if any of them become candidates for the next record... i doubt they will, but... you never know. They're still writing and tweaking. January is coming so soon...i don't see how they can finish in time to begin so quickly... I guess we'll just have to wait and see. boyd _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. Do ya'll actually want them to put these older songs on the sophmore project? Don't you think they'll get railed for not having all new tunes? sheesh, critics were ruthless on that one point w/ Room Noises... all pissy about the fact that there were songs from the ep's on the full length. Sure, this would be different...I know they haven't been released...but they've been playing these songs for you guys live for years now...hmmmm... It is sad... to think of these magical songs just to drift into oblivion. boyd _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. def need to have all new songs on the 2nd LP. all the old songs should be hoarded, and released on one gigantic (well, not really) b-sides record. i like the itunes things, but most of them are live tracks, and i'd love to have a nice official hard copy. |
