It's like bashing someone for being who they are. I may seem overly dramatic about art, especially drawing, it's just that I have a very strong view on people and art. Keep on rockin'. That was absolutely wonderful. _________________ iLivejournal VirbAGE sometimes i make things to look at |

I very much agree with that. Except, sometimes I can't help but not like things I draw because I get these amazing pictures in my head and I will try to get them on paper but my pencils and my thoughts and my skills don't all coordinate... and what ends up on the paper isn't what I had in my head. _________________ my name's carrie and i love a good sandwich so if you have a sandwich, come roll with me! i'm gonna marry the mars volta. |

I know exactly what you mean... But you can't let the idea of "it wasn't what i wanted" to get you down. That's the problem with expression. Ideas that seem so much larger than life in your head get reduced to words such as "love", "awesome" or "great". That's how everything is though... Even in art. "Telescope eyes" "Lost at Sea" and "Blackend crown" are alot more than that in my head... But the best I could do is what you guys/girls see on these threads. Expression is difficult... Even in music. I'm willing to bet that if you ask Eisley if they're music is exactly how they had it in their head, they would probably say no. No one can capture all the marvelous things we have in our heads... The fun is in trying! Keep on rockin'. Oh, and thanks for all the positive feed back on my work. You guys/girls have no idea how much it means to me that my work is enjoied by others besides me! p.s. Sorry for taking so long in replying... I'm in the middle of the ocean right now (until the 21st! WEAK!!!) and my ship doesn't let us use the internet unless you're pretty high up... I had to trade 2 packs of smokes to get some internet time... _________________ "To cheating, stealing, fighting and drinking... When you cheat, may you cheat death. That's really good stuff! Hey if you guys want, put some eisley inspired art on a postcard. I have a website dedicated to postcard art. If you send it, we will post it. WeAreTeamwork I want to have sections devoted to certain material, one of them being bands/songs. We already have a few based of some Jazz songs ( i.e. Giant Steps) _________________ "a normal, suburban lifestyle is a near impossibility once you've fallen in love with an international spy" xanga |
