Are in LA. Literally, downtown. This shot was outside in the streets. All
these ghetto kids with skateboards were like oogling and asking..."so
who's this band?" and we'd say, "Eisley"...and they were like, "hmmm...i
never herd of dem" And we were like..."oh, well...that's probably because,
as you can see...they're GLAM STARS.. now GET LOST KIDS!!!! and they
pulled knives on me and I..."HI YAH!!"...(did a quarter-round-house with
a double-back, knee-stumper followed by a hollow-hack, jack-neck)

nahh. no way. I just said, "well, they just signed to Warner, but you've
probably never heard of them and...SCRAM KIDS before I call the FUZZ!!"

I think she looks like Sherri, but Stacy looks different to me.

I think it's a nice pic. And I must say, I envy Chauntelle's hair with a passion. Mad Wink

I can see it... The hair needs to be a bit darker, though.

at first i didn't see the picture, and everyone was making a big fuss about how "glammy" the photo is. i don't think it's "glammy", really...when i picture glammy, i picture fans and haid blowing in the wind and such. this looks like a normal photo in an unnatural pose.

Ali!! Ali!! (look over there!)

tatta-tatta-tatta-tatta!!

yer-ded.

So, I meant to ask you...When Eisley comes back to Austin, what venue
would you choose? It's a serious question. I have opinions. I'm not so
keen on Emo's (ratty and junky with poles to block view...but is the scene
for coolness) OR Stubbs (small, sound wasn't so great...stage was low,
but i liked the food!) i think Marty likes those 2 places. What's your
opinion? Thanks. bd

i thought the sound was pretty decent at stubb's. a lot of folks are playing the parish nowadays (used to be metro - it's above jazz restaurant on 6th). midalke played there last. seen spoon there + many others. but nothing special about the venue at all (except that they have an eisley sticker on the bar's tip jar - i don't know who put it there). emo's is trashy, but cheap. i like that i can go see shows there for a few bucks, and leave pretty happy. also seen plenty of good shows there (midlake included). i wish i could say liberty lunch.. that would've been the perfect spot.
