I just kind of wanted to thank Eisley for helping ease me through some depressing times in my life. For some reason, whenever I turn on this music, my problems melt away and I'm fully absorbed. I've had my best ideas while listening, and the lyrics helped to change my outlook on life, in a way. Court, fighting, ocd, etc. are hard, but for some reason with the music I'm ok again? Thank you. _________________ - stevie |

mr. pine always hits the spot when i'm feelin down and so does Marvelous things. It's the chorus "dark night hold tight and sleep tight my baby" that makes me feel crappy things will pass and everything will be alright . _________________ and iiiii can't live without you and i don't want to. i've done that all my life up til now.

just the thought of EISLEY makes me happy happy. if i'm not listening to them when i'm sad, thinking about them and humming their songs does the job. _________________ "Hi. I baked these cookies myself, and i want them to be inside of you." -Boogie Nation- |

i think this post makes me happier than i get when i listen to their music. but i totally agree. like, sometimes i'll be in a terribly sucky mood and stroll across some clip or work on something for the band... and unsuspectedly i'm hearing this tune (for work) but I start getting happy....and smiling; sometimes tears. But the reason i like this thread so much is because i realize i'm not crazy. it's not just me... also, it makes me happy that you guys are getting something from the eisley experience. that's so cool. thanks for saying it. bd _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. You know what I realized? I haven't played Eisley for a single person from which I received a bad response. They're always intrigued by the sound and want more, they devour the songs. Most people want to go get the eps right away. There's something in the lyrics, music, everything that has a comfort and beauty so rare now in the music world. _________________ - stevie |
