uhm... this is me nagging: "hey boyd, hows it going? you know that song silver bugs? of course you do. well see i like it alot. and so next time you have several hours or minutes or years or whatever alotment of time it takes to put one of those live versions of songs together, could you maybe do one for that song. because see, it is a really good song and even though we already have a recording of it, the current one just doesn't seem to do justice to the song. so yeah. thanks, sorry to bother you. thanks for all the work." or this: "please please please please please please.......etc." |

Thanks for the reminder ideal. i was thinking tonight - what should I look for in my archives? That's the answer. Might be hard to find since they didn't play the song too many times live. But I'll dig around. bd. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. Are you referring to the version at straylight6.org? Because if you are... I'm thorougly offended since I recorded it! Be glad you have anything at all you ungrateful leeches. If you're not referring to that version... uhhh... then yeah, I demand a better version! _________________ "If you're a ninja, every day is like friday." -Jamie M. |

Just have them set up stage in your living room and have them play it again. Add some fake clapping at the end for that lovely "live" effect. And Hey, why your at it, go ahead and get a nice version of "Just Like We Do" and "They All Surrounded Me". Not to much to ask is it?! O_O Muwhahaha.. _________________ Jamie (the female version) |

errr. sorry if my post sounded rude- I didnt mean it that way at all. After re-reading it I realized that it sounded sarcastic. I think there is a snipit of Just Like We Do.. it would be awesome to hear the entire song... Yeah. *is an ungrateful leech* _________________ Jamie (the female version) |

yea, ummm... i don't really wanna complain about silver bugs, i wanna COMPLAIN ABOUT "BECOMING YOU"! if it's not too much to complain about... haha. it has a lot of static and such. don't get me wrong, i love silver bugs and think it could be better, i just think "becoming you" needs a new recording, ya know? be gentle, haha. actually jamiga's idea is funny, the setting up in the living room and adding applause like in GarageBand. haha |

Boyd, don't know where the version on Straylight6 came from, but I know Eisley played Silver Bugs at Trees (I think it was the Adventure Club B-day party back in '03). Hope that helps....SILVER BUGS ROCKS!! P. _________________ "Enjoy Every Sandwich" - Warren Zevon "What's Life Without Music?" - The Mermaid Purse www.myspace.com/ptah |
