What is the band's position on the p2p networks? I know every doller ie sold cd counts for a newer band so I'm actually asking beforehand if I can share/post Eisley's music publicly. At the moment exposure is probably more valuable then sales but are there any contract obligations with Warner Bros. that stand in the way? Keep up the excellent work and I'll be at the next show for sure! As if it hasn't been said enough the Buzzoven show at Tree's was excellent!

btw, this question would be good for the FAQ

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I remember Boyd or Kim promoting rare Eisley stuff on P2P Searches like Mister Pine. I don't know...does Eisley support Kazaa, etc.?

Yeah, Eisley is all over Kazaa. But at this stage I would say that is a good thing. The more people hear about them the more people will hear about them. Does that make sense?

I was going to upload my Laughing City EP to my comp. Which is what I do with most of my cds cause then I can leave my cds in my car and listen to them here at the same time. But then I was just like "wait, I can download them.." haha. But I do have every Eisley cd. So yeah.

I think their independent recordings they don't mind being traded. They've even approved trading recordings of live shows in the past on this forum.

However, I don't think they're cool with trading songs that involve other people and licenses and stuff. Indie is easy, it's all up to them. But there are legalities w/ stuff on Laughing City (or any future label releases). I directed Boyd's attention to this thread, and hopefully we'll have an "official" answer soon. I'm pretty sure it will be something along these lines, though.
