i'm game. i live all the way in massachusetts. but i don't think it matters becaues i don't think it'll happen. i'm sure the rents would think of me driving to dallas with a bunch of total strangers as being totally sketched out. sketch system. red sox > you. but not eisley. xoxo conor _________________ A POEM ABOUT LOVE AND HATE IN THE INFORMATION AGE by jonathon newby 10010111000101101001 10010010101010101001101010 1010010110LOVE101001001 100101011010010010101001 11010010100101010101010 0101100101HATE0101001010 01001010010101001010. |

heartwarming to think you guys would even try such a road trip. sweet. So far, it looks like nobody is really on board, right? or...did I read wrong? It's a long way... we drove straight from NYC on night to Tyler and got home 24 hours later on the dot. Dallas is a little to the West on I-20 by 90 miles. Of course, I was driving a 15 passenger van carrying 5,000 lbs. of gear/trailer behind me. Road trips are fun. I'm serious. Jams, hang out time, So-B's, gas stations... good times. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. you know i'm really starting to consider this now. i would be on holidays, i have the money, i really think it'd be cool to go see eisley that night, and i want the experience. but on the other hand, nobody in my family would understand and support my decision, and the trip to d.c. would be solo unless somebody else on the way was going. i dunno... i really want to. i bet i'd have a great time with you and andrew, ryan. i could actually meet some more boardies from texas. the more i think about it the more i want to. the real thing holding me back is my family's reaction. how would i explain it to them? "mom, i'm meeting up with some kids in d.c. i've never seen in real life that you don't know to drive to texas to see this band live" what kind of cost are we talking about here? who is really considering this? what date would i need to leave on to get to d.c. and when would i expect to be home? more importantly... WHAT KIND OF SANDWICHES SHOULD I BRING? gah! i really want to go! |

as much as we love eisley, it is hard to justify making a trip all the way across the country if doing so is going to be an extreme hassle... if nothing else because they are about to go on tour next year and they will surely be in a city near you maybe even twice. if you can make the trip to texas worthwhile for some other reason though then it could be made into a great plan. just my two cents. _________________ "You're my favorite person." - David Carradine, Kill Bill vol. 2 |

i'm not far from DC, in fact i met you at the 930 club show recently. who knows, it could happen. if memory serves, bridgewater is right off 81, isn't it? in that case, we could just pick you up on the way since we'd have to go right by you |

There will be hundreds of our Texas friends/fans at the show... certainly forum peeps too. But no pressure to do such a thing... we totally understand and do not expect it. btw. Yes. the show is a go. There will be other shows and tours, of course. In fact... I'm sure you're looking forward to Eisley's 25 minutes w/ NFG, right? (totally kidding) bd _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead.
