I'm actually quite sad that this is what the record is going to sound like. So polished, so fast, so similar to other bands. I'm still going to be the first one in line buying the cd, but i must voice my opinion. _________________ http://www.nicholasvenaglia.com |

Another error on the e-merge site.. it says the songs are from the upcoming "Laughing City", not upcoming "Room Noises" Heh. I found these earlier today... greatly enjoying them. I think they're pretty good mixes, though the lyrics to Telescope Eyes are still WRONG. _________________ "The revolution starts today, not tomorrow." :: got g-Love? |

These are the tunes that will be on the media player. That's why they're up on e-merge. The L.A.S. remix is sorta a remix, huh....it's more like - he took the tracks and added beats and messed with it digitally...a remix, but not the typical dance beat. It's done by Beck's piano player. Eisley played these versions of T.E's and Golly Sandra exactly as you hear them on the Snow Patrol tour, so....there shouldn't really be any surprises for any who saw them... and, I documented the details of tempo, the lap, etc. on the journal while it was happening. gotta go! we're in LA and are starving! bd _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. the songs are not TERR|BLY disappointing, but i must second the opinion that there is a very plastic feel to them... the eerie eisley effect has been nearly obliterated in order to make these tracks more radio-friendly. i don't mind the faster tempo itself, but there's something that underlies it that gives an impression of cheapness... the thing is that these tracks still aren't TRL material... they are more like some mutoid of some sort.. but the songs are still the same songs i loved... i'm really at a loss for a verdict on this one yet.... _________________ "You're my favorite person." - David Carradine, Kill Bill vol. 2 |
