...but as they peered into the cloud, the fading vapor abandon it's beryl haze, revealing only the darkened forest - and she was gone. But, if only for a moment, the night creatures were warmed by her visitation; As nature's hearth cast her golden embers into an escalating stream of warmth... the kindred heartbeats continue their rhythmic performance together underneath the canopy of stars. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. well you should... my dad still poetifies from time to time and its nice to read poetry from a more experienced perspective. most poetry i write is all teenage and sheer drivel and worthless. i guess i just have to grow up and let it ferment in my head like a fine wine, allow it to age and soak in the delicate undertones and nuances of life that only come from experience. have fun in Seattle its a great town... say hi to my sister for me... you probably won't see her (and if you do you won't know who the heck she is... so just wear a big sign about your neck that reads "Luke says, 'Hello, Grace!'" thanks that would be great...) on second thought i should just email her... it would probably be a more effective and reliable method... and yes, i do believe in the freedom to wear socks while sleeping though personally i never exercise that right (unless im camping and its dreadfully cold) |
