Hmmmm... I heard of Eisley today for the first time on the Questionable Content forums (one of the web comics I visit daily). I've downloaded everything I could get my hands on from the main website, and I've been listening to it on a loop at work this morning. Great stuff. I'm looking forward to possibly showing up for the Austin show at the end of this month. I guess a little about me would be appropriate. I'm a 24 year old 6'6" guy, native Texan, currently living in San Antonio (since '97). I've been working for a software company for the last couple of years, currently a Sales Engineer. I grew up with a dad in the late 70's/early 80's version of today's indie bands after he'd gotten a degree in music. I, unfortunately, only inherited a relatively small portion of his talent and seemingly encyclopedic music knowledge. I like to play guitar (almost exclusively acoustic) and sing, but neither are areas of necessarily exceptional talent or skill. Like everyone else out there, I dream of one day being a widely loved and appreciated "rock star", and also like the vast majority of everyone else out there, I do little about it with any significant degree of seriousness or commitment. I voted for Eisley on Launch and hope they continue to do well. Judging form the video, it looks like Mister Bassist got a haircut, which is a good thing _________________ Eric (the Deacon remix)
