Posted: Tue Oct 07, 2003 4:17 pm Anyone out there going to the show on November 22nd and 23rd at the legendary Metro? I hang out at the Metro a lot and I usually buy my tickets at the day of the show. But this is a huge exception since this is Eisley. I'll probably show up early and go to both shows. I'm so happy you guys are visiting Chicago twice. _________________ "What's with these homies dissing my girl?" - Weezer "I think I know I mean a yes but it's all wrong, that is I think I disagree." - Beatles My Livejournal |

Haha, it's ok Boyd. ^_~ I check the Metro all the time for shows because it's my favorite venue and I was kinda shocked that you guys would be here for two days. I was like, "OH MAH GAWD." heh heh...yeah, anyway, you guys will like the area the Metro is surrounded with: Belmont and Wrigleyville (and not just for the Cubs either). It's a huge center of underground/indie bands starting up with local shops for the Arts. _________________ "What's with these homies dissing my girl?" - Weezer "I think I know I mean a yes but it's all wrong, that is I think I disagree." - Beatles My Livejournal |

Yes, it is with Brand New. (I'm excited to see them too.) Check http://www.metrochicago.com for details. I feel like some kind of advertiser. Meh, anything to help my favorite venue. _________________ "What's with these homies dissing my girl?" - Weezer "I think I know I mean a yes but it's all wrong, that is I think I disagree." - Beatles My Livejournal |

We should hang out one of those days. Daniel (our singer) knows the guys in Brand New also. He toured with them when he was in the band Showoff. They are some pretty funny guys. Boyd did you go to the lego super store last time you were in Chicago? They have full sized Star Wars characters made out of legos, its quite amazing. -Aaron |
