I think just about every band i've seen Eisley open for I haven't been too fond of. Except for Coldplay. Brand New was a plesant surprize, because they were a lot better live than they are recorded (in my opinion) however, I still don't really enjoy that kinda music much. I thought Hot Rod Circuit was rad though. I'd never heard of them before, but they put on a great show. _________________ "strength is just an accident arising from the weakness of others." ~Joseph Conrad ---------------

I prefer seeing Eisley and hanging out with them while the other bands are playing. Brand New was differant because I really like them a lot, but I still got to hang with Eisley briefly that night. _________________ http://www.myspace.com/whisperingtrees |

this next tour will be the second where i see eisley open for a band i really don't like. snow patrol i sort of dont like, but brand new and nfg, while not too similar, i just...i dont like either at all. period. but in my experience, i've not had to see the headliners because we see eisley, then hang out with boyd / band members etcetera. though i can't wait until they are the headlining ones. that'll be friggin awesome. _________________ knives don't have your back. |

If you guys get a chance, check out the Winter West Tour. All three bands are very awesome. I am a new fan of the Elected. That guy was crazy, especially after the strap came off his Gretsch. I was so worried he was going to destroy it. Awesome show. Josh. _________________ What has love become? |

Yeah..I am the person who leaves quickly . In the past I have just sorta left after Eisley. One reason is just cause I don't like being out so late...and I just go straight home. And sometimes the people I am with just wanna go. Another is that I am not that big of a show person..so many people..so unless the band is one that I really REALLY love, I probably won't stick around. However, that being said, I will admit that I could regret it later. What is really sad is I am not going to be able to go to the NFG show. 17.50 is a bunch of money. So is 14 for the cd.. But I might start stickin around longer in the future though..yep. Perhaps. _________________ And it's so sad to see the world agree That they'd rather see their faces fill with flies All when I'd want to keep white roses in their eyes.

But hey, it beats them opening for, say, Garth Brooks. NFG won't kill you. *shrug* perhaps not, but i would probly have an overwhelming urge to kill them. _________________ oh, so they have the internet on computers now! But of course I'd like to sit around and chat |

how was it like? i almost did, but my friend copped out, she was nervous. she didnt even know them til the concert.. youre paying to see Eisley, so yeah- just see eisley then hang around the merch area. i did. here's my story: so i was there nice and early. i caught the end of the sound check (they played memories...it was wonderful). and when they let people in, i was right up against the stage. so eisley plays, and i talk to chauntelle briefly while she's packing up. and so then i go to the back of the venuem and there's the band. so i talked to stacy and gave her a mix. she signed my poster. i talked to sherri, who couldn't find a marker. so she used my friend's pen. talked to chauntelle again. she signed my poster, too. so then i'm hanging out with my friend, mandy, and we see boyd. so i say hello and ask if he has any tour posters. he said yeah and told me to find him before i left to get one. and fifteen minutes before i leave, i see him and he's there with the whole band. and i just talk with them until i have to go. it was mainly boyd and chauntelle. stacy and sherri were having fun shining a flashlight at some old people making out. and jon and weston were eating. haha. oh, and weston signed my poster, too. but it was fun. and they were some of the nicest, most down to earth people i had ever met. the end. xoxo conor _________________ A POEM ABOUT LOVE AND HATE IN THE INFORMATION AGE by jonathon newby 10010111000101101001 10010010101010101001101010 1010010110LOVE101001001 100101011010010010101001 11010010100101010101010 0101100101HATE0101001010 01001010010101001010. |

So you can go see Eisley, then talk to them for a while after their show, then leave INDEED. Thats on my agenda! _________________ You're just jealous 'cause we're young & in love. |
