amazing. more to come when i can actually place all of the wonderful things into words. ------- pre-show: the doors opened at 9 and i think thats right around the time i got there. as i stepped in through the door i saw boyd and kim, and thought "wow, this venue is small, its gonna be awesome" then i stood around for a bit, and saw Jamie (the Antrider) and Nicole (shyviolet) walk in!! that was mega cool, so after a bit we a had a short chat, and then went over to the merch table. or maybe i went...i dunno, anyways though, i bought a sweater, shirt, and lithograph, and some pins, but i only had $60 in 20 dollar bills, and the total came out to $42 so kim let me have the pins for free. that was very nice of her. as i turned i saw nicole and jamie, and then jamie said "i'll introduce you to boyd!" haha i chuckled, got nervous, but once i started talking to him it was all good. but then my mom called so i went back over by her opening act: The Colour these guys made me want to become a groupie Eisley where i was standing when the colour was doing their set was right behind these two gigantic people which was okay because i wasn't pressed on seeing them play, but i knew i had to move before eisley came on. i moved, and could see the whole band from where i was, there was only one person between me and the front stage, and thats how all shows should be. eisley got on stage, set up everything and then were off into an awesome song. what song that is i can't remember, but it was good. the second song in i spotted Jamie next to me taking pictures of the band. watching him experiment and do his magic was really inspiring as well. i sang along throughout the show, and almost felt dorkish, but its eisley, and you can do that kind of thing. all the memories of first seeing them with coldplay came back and i realized how lucky i was just then. it was very wonderful, and i can't wait until they come back with new found glory. it won't be the same, there will be more people, the venue will be bigger, certain amazing people won't be there, but eisley will, and thats all worth it. there is still so much more i could say, but i still have no idea how. just know that it was incredible. and if you're wondering about pictures, jamie will help you out |

It was incredible. A small venue, awesome people (see above) and enthusastic fans just getting up close and intimate (in a non-perverted way). The band may or may not have been terribly happy with their performance, but it sounded fine to use. Honest! I'll have a picture or two, possibly, very soon. If not, I'll have a handful tomorrow when I get back home. Thanks everyone, it was a great time. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

Aw, thanks. The photos:
Tired run down: Stood in front of Stacy, low stage with good lights on Stacy and Sherri. (Thanks to those who let me have their spots.) Chauntelle and Jonathan were in the dark, though. It made things hard as far as taking shots of them went. Anyway, I guess these photos are ok. I'll slowly get more and better quality as times goes. But I'm way tired right now. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |
