yeah, you mean the dvd shot in Australia? The Sidney Shows? i thought that was to come out Nov. 4th. surely we haven't missed it. also, back to eisley...(sorry). about the video - keep in mind that the same guy who planned every step of Coldplay's career (in the US - which is essentially all there is...I'll explain later if anyone is interested, but I've covered it before)....is planning and managing eisley's. Not to say that Eisley is like Coldplay or as good as or...whatever (dang, I hope not. they're about 7 or 8 years behind them); but, Dave worked with the video people, helped picked the concepts, envisioned all that has happened...even the grammy's..., and still has massive plans for the band... all that to say, Eisely has amazing people working on their behalf who think and dream the same way. They know instinctively if something is lame or cheesy, or good. I know I've said this before, but Craig Aaronson on the WB side and Dave on the Nettwerk side are seriously the best in the industry. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. well it depends on your hardware/software. like i said, my old laptop worked just fine, but my new one is a little flaky. i'll have to install the new software tonight and see how it goes. some dvd players can be programmed.. check out this one, and the customer reviews are helpful too, they tell you how to program it. amazon.com apparently http://www.regionfreedvd.net/ is a good resource too. _________________ hello. |

ok...Dan told us, but WHEN does the new Coldplay dvd (filmed live in Sidney come out? I forgot. Thought he said Nov. 4th, but maybe that was Nettwerk's Christmas record... _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead. in the u.s., the coldplay dvd comes out nov. 10th, and then a week later everywhere else in the world. has to do with holiday marketing or something like that. can't wait!! i only wish they would also include all their videos up to date, but they aren't. |

I saw some clips on the Coldplayer v2.0... The DVD looks a little too artistic for me. They seem to switch back and forth between shots really fast and don't linger on anything for very long (of course, I'm comparing it to U2's Elevation Tour DVD, which spent most of the duration of the concert lingering on Bono). It's a little hectic and chaotic... And there's not enough Guy Berryman. But I'm still gonna buy it. That exclusive live version of "Life is For Living" from iTunes convinced me. It's gonna be great, no matter how weird the cinematography is. I can't wait. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |
