so, we still only have, after almost 2 years of being in the UK, a handful of eis-lovers across the pond. But that's ok. It's better than the number of fans Eisley has in Cairo... or Athens... or Cambodia... or Seoul... or Bucksnort, TN. (yes, there IS a Bucksnort). But you guys are the best. I wanted room noises from amazon. but i spent all my money on laughing city and marvelous things and a few more cd's. THEN i saw room noises... Grr. ah well. Shall Just Save... Yes Indeed. We Love Eisley.

Oh the agonising wait! I amazon sort of took their time on mine as well. But that day I did not care. I was celebrating my 21st birthday (a few days late I might add thanks to work) I had just finished my day at work and got home to find room noises waiting for me! My friends had hidden it under my mail pile as a surprise for me! Man what a surprise! |

Well at the risk of repeating myself, I was only able to get the album because I travelled down to London, it was not stocked in either of the 2 big record stores (virgin or HMV) or the 2 indie stores in Birmingham, despite Birmingham being the second largest city in the Uk, with well over a million and half people living here. |

woah. that sucks. i saw 3 copies in the HMV on oxford street a while back, but i guess that is one, if not the biggest and most visited one in the uk. |

and it was slow from amazon. but wohoo it hasn't left my CD player (bar for T-rex last night, Ed harcourt just before that). and it is actually the best put together albulm i own. and i own 69 of them. and i'm still only 16. and i'm always skint. how's that for yeh? i'll shut up now. Apparently I have Room Noises now.. it's in a parcel at my house at uni... waiting for me My lovely friend from across the pond ordered it for meeee so hopefully its signed too!

Hey guys, I'm from London and am a new fan. I heard Marvelous Things and Telescope Eyes Blackened Crown a couple of years ago, and I liked them but I didn't pursue Eisley further. Then I heard about Room Noises, heard the clips on MySpace and fell in love. I can honestly say it is one of the best pop records I own. So so good. I've only had it a couple of weeks and I must have played it so many times. As usual, I feel as though I've been the last to catch onto things.. I'm not very cool haha. |
