Someone made a Circa Survive thread the other week...and like in that one i will say in this one: Check out The Sound of Animals Fighting... www.myspace.com/thesoundofanimalsfighting Its Anthony and some Rx Bandits and some Finch people and some others and stuff and its awesome and you should definitely without a doubt buy their CD.

Yeah they are awesome too....but I was kinda disappointed with their "album" which should have really been an EP....because there are only 4 real songs..with electronic-e interludes....but it's good stuff nonetheless....

I've had the album for a week now and I'm really liking it, the best part is that I have the chance to see them 3 times this summer
later this month opening for Dredg
In June opening for Say Anything and Emmanuel
and in August on the Warped Tour
Very Happy

Its really nothing like The Mars Volta. I'd compair the singer more to Chris Carrabba before I'd compair him to Cedric.

Cedric uses a half falsetto when he sings, Anthony is pretty much just hitting the notes with his normal voice (give or take a few high notes).

I would agree with that.

By the way, I saw the Mars Volta on Monday. I am going to assume you've seen them, just because I assume a lot. Anyway, it was THE most amazing show I have ever been to. Two hours of nonstop just... gah, amazing.

I just got back from a Circa Survive concert.

It was cool.

Small venue.

Hot girls.

I got a guitar pick.

And thats it.

I've never heard their music. I was going to see them live with Say Anything, but since SA had to drop out I didn't go to the show. (It was actually tonight.)
