my guess is sometime possibly in the autumn, dont know why. Biyd told me a while back that it would be next year but i get this feeling that it will be this year. £rd or 4th tour in US on the trot is now under way, surely the uk is next, how many times can they tour this album in the atates? unless they release another single there first, tour that and then come here. which would make it, late this eyar, early next year. well whenever they tour, make a date in manchester, i've moved there from sunny newcastle, dont post much but still loving eisley. _________________ "A mathematician is a blind man in a dark room looking for a black cat which isn't there." - Charles Darwin (legend) |

I am really hoping they will come over to the UK, and any gig near Birmingham would be ideal, but I am curious as to what the sales figures are like for the album in the UK, and whether in terms of economics and affordability this would mean they might only be able to play say London, and Glasgow. There does not appear to have been any promotion for the band over here and I learnt about them through another music forum, and although I continue to try to spread the word myself, most people I speak to, even within what I like to think of as musically enlightened circles, dont know who Eisley are. |

Bit pointless them coming over if no-ones heard of them other than the probable couple' hundred (at the most) people who have the album. I'd like to think a bit of promotion and a tour with an established band, as with most of their US tours. Lets wait n see. Would be good if Boyd or Kim could give us a clue, if there is one. Have there been any discussion at all regarding a UK tour? _________________ "A mathematician is a blind man in a dark room looking for a black cat which isn't there." - Charles Darwin (legend) |

i think with devoe management now taking care of them, a uk tour will be possible soon. but my guess is that they will be a support slot a few times in the uk before embarking on their own headlining tour. who knows! maybe they could do a really small headlining tour and i could support them with my acoustic guitar. _________________ The Barents Sea |

I think Eisley could sell out or nearly sell out the Garage in London, or the Mean Fiddler in Charing Cross, London. I know about 5 people who like them too. Ack I just want them to tour so bad. im sorry but i doubt they could sell these places out. maybe though could, i'm not sure. but they haven't had enough promotion in the UK to be doing such things yet. but soon. oh so soon. _________________ The Barents Sea |

it's funny how england becomes a whole bunch of cities, but Scotland is just one big city/country. "Hey we're *whoever* and we're doing a uk tour in... Birmingham Manchester London Newcastle and... scotland!" not, glasgow, edinburgh, aberdeen, or any of the main cities. just scotland. sorry for this rant, but this upsets me. i think when eisley are over, they should be different and do a whole scotland tour, such as glasgow edinburgh aberdeen perth! (just because i'd die if they played in my home town) dundee ok. rant. over. _________________ The Barents Sea |
