Posted: Tue Aug 23, 2005 7:09 am It was my first real show. And it was amazing. I got there with 2 friends at 3. It seemed like we were the only people in the sun the whole time. Funny how that happened. This one guy drove by and yelled "Get up you bums!" We waited...and waited...and waited...and...well you get the idea. Everything yesterday was about waiting. The wait was entirely worth every second. We met some really nice people in line. Richard Swift was good. I'm considering buying an album, but I was so excited for Eisley that I didn't really pay much attention to his set. Every once in a while I would look up and they would be peering out a window watching. Then it finally came. The moment I had been waiting for all month. They played an amazing set. I was right in front of Chantelle. When they were done, we sat around for a long time waiting to meet them. I got to meet everyone but Sherri. Every single one of them were so nice. Chauntelle said she liked my shoes and Weston gave me a 99 cent sticker. The whole day was very cool. Thanks Eisley. EDIT: I really would like to meet them again. I was so out of it by that time, that I must not have seemed very enthusiastic or friendly or excited. And to tell you the truth it was hard to be at that time in the night/morning whatever after waiting in line so long, and having sore feet and a headache. It was sort of surreal. Anyway, it was still cool and I'm thankful. |
