OK, on I Wasn't Prepared... at the very end where sherri says When the day is blue, i'll sit here wondering about you. im pretty sure she puts on some sort of european/italian/broad scottish accent when she says the word 'wondering' it sounds more like 'wandrring' ok, you have to hear it. but there's a funny sound when she says the R. Note: this is in no way meant to be offensive. this song is also my favourite song. and i love this band. just before anyone gets angry. (again... this topic is stupid) _________________ The Barents Sea |

Us Texans tend to do that occasionally. Sometimes I say wandering when I mean wondering. I also wrote a song that says: "Wondering and wandering without you" And you can't really discern the words. I have to try really hard to make them sound different... _________________ Gosh, writings music Ryan5 wrote: I still love Eisley a gamahucheing million time better than farting |

hah, i dunno it's just the way it's said on the r. like if you can roll your r's? it just sounds very scottish to me. maybe i'm hearing things. but it's not the texan accent. just have a listen to the very end of the song. you'll hear it. _________________ The Barents Sea |

We can pick apart every song Sherri sings on make fun of her "accent" but quite frankly I like it. (love) And for that example you cited, all it is is a "trick" writers use to make words flow. Because "wondering" is three syllables and "won'dring" isn't. I think that might've sounded angry, but i'm not really. |

i think i'd probably be best showing ya'll in person. it's on the letter R, just listen carefully. lol okay now I actually listened to what you're talking about, and I get it. It's pretty funny...i'll attempt to spell it out: "...juan-dRRrrRRRring ah-bowwt youuuuu...." |

Sherri used to sound like Kath Soucie when she sang. _________________ Scriptozoology, a screenwriting blog .. Facebook |
