I like the Postal Service version, and I get tired of Iron and Wine worship, but dang, he nailed it so right. I've gotta go with Iron and Wine. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

I do like both versions, but I like the Postal Service one much better. I actually think "Such Great Heights" is one of the worst Iron & Wine songs. Not that's it's BAD, I just get tired of it really, really quickly. _________________ xanga | livejournal | photobucket | what I'm listening to |

it depends on my mood. i enjoy them both. it is a nice song by itself (the original version i mean). but i think that the postal service version is pretty creative. i mean, i guess i wouldn't think of being able to re-make it in that way. although i like both of them, i went with the postal service. |

I have to say I like the postal service one better. i recently used it at the end of a short film i made. it went so well with it The postal service version will always be good for throwing in random tv show segments and short films. That's why it gets my vote. I'm not sure i've even heard the Iron & Wine version. Was it on a tv commercial? _________________ If nobody makes you do it, it counts as fun -Hobbes |

The Postal Service version, by far. Remember the scene in the movie Animal House where John Belushi takes the guitar and smashes it? That's the urge I get when I hear the Iron and Wine version. _________________ "If those are my last words, I can do better." |
