well, i guess i should say hello, since the newbies sticky post scares me with its monstrous size. it wants to eat me, i think, so i'll stay away from that.

anyway, i'm chelsea, eighteen, and i'm from southern california. orange county. mm, how exciting. i'm also an artist, sooo, i might post random drawings of band-related nature if i ever get around to anything i'm particularly fond of. like so:

( i know, no boys.. i drew this a long time ago on my computer and i never finished it! :[ )

i'm not exactly new to eisley, but i'm new to the forums and posting and being an actual fan-that-pays-attention.

but for the record, i heard about the band through an online acquaintance. i was sent a live recording of Golly Sandra and the studio Trolley Wood, and... to be perfectly honest, i didn't really like them. i didn't dislike them, but they didn't catch my interest. they were stashed away in my loads of music files to be forgotten about for some weeks. when i rediscovered the songs, something kind of clicked in my head and i suddenly needed more and more, and finally bought the record. needless to say, i drove around aimlessly for the next hour or so replaying the cd again and again.

it's funny how two songs you don't really like at first can turn into your very favorite band. :]

saw them in l.a. last friday for the first time and was completely in love with the performances. :] got to meet them all afterward, but i didn't talk much because i'm shy. Razz best night ever, though.

and that, my friends, is MY story.

nice to meet you all. :]

Welcome! That drawing is fantastic. I'd love to see it larger and colored and such. You definitely captured the girls' features without making it necessarily photorealistic. I'm gonna check out your DeviantArt site.

Glad you decided to join the forum! Very Happy

Howdy there. You know what? Your story is basically the same as mine. I found out about them online, listened to their songs, didn't like them, stashed away their songs, then rediscovered them and was blown away. Neato. Good to have ya with us. Wink

Welcome to the Forum!

I'm from So Cal too! But from L.A., and not the O.C.

I'm glad you re-discovered Eisley!! They are wonderous!!

Stacy and Sherri look like Japanese rockstars/wrestlers.

I agree though, you did a grand job capturing their features. Really, it was refreshing to see that compared to other art that's been posted.

Awesome introduction to yourself. Forget stickies!

That movie owes a lot to Rick Heinrichs. It was very nice looking.
