Stacy appeared to me in a dream and the next day I found Eisley.

Now I'm going to marry her

She's too young for you.

Or MAYBE I'm too old for her.

when i saw them at cornerstone i think it was a mixture of the atmosphere and vocals. plus, i was like, "that girl on the keyboards looks so young, and she's awesome!" yeah, she's only a year younger than me, but still, i was uber impressed.

Let's see... pretty much the entire Marvelous Things EP. I used to sing along and fancy I had as good a voice as Sherri/Stacy.

It started off with my strictly-hetero love for a Mr. Jesse Lacey.

He then played the "Marvelous Things" video on their IMX special and I was blown.

There were subtle moments in that video that I found amazing, like Stacy playing that toy keyboard and the way Jon plucked his bass so cool.

But Sherri looking like Natalie Portman is what got me hooked.

She really loved that microphone.

Marvy Things. First song that I heard of theirs. Blew me away. And now I'm semi-obsessed.

i downloaded a video of tree tops from one of their shows at the metro and i thought that was an amazing song so i went out and bought room noises another reason is how someone my age like stacy could get signed at a young age because of how talented she is its just really inspiring to a young musician like me i think she makes the band have a powerful presence

i had heard their name somewhere around summer of 2003, and when i got back to school in the fall, as soon as i found out they were going to tour with brand new, i downloaded the original version of "telescope eyes". at the time, i'm pretty sure i couldn't find any other mp3s on the internet...but everyone who heard that song fell in love with them. i went to the first show of the brand new tour at the 9:30 club show (i worked there and it was free), and LOVED their live performance. i went the next day in philly with my friend to interview brand new, and was hooked. i think i talked to boyd that night for at least half of brand new's set, partly convincing him why the brand new tour would be great for eisley (and it definitely was). so yeah, there you go.
