I just typed them out. I believe they're correct, but if not, someone can feel free to correct me... Verse 1 Walking home with the Snow it is falling down Passing by lit windows The people inside they wave from the glow Chimney smoke billowing Snowflakes on my lashes Oh, starry night I was walking and singing this song Chorus La la la la... Verse 2 Walking home with the Snow it is falling down Passing by lit windows The people inside they wave from the glow Chimney smoke billowing Snowflakes on my lashes Oh, starry night I was walking and singing this song Chorus Singing la la la la... Bridge It's that day again It's that time of year With our smiling faces We will sing with cheer Chorus La la la la... |

i always thought it was "passing violet windows" thinking it meant the TV was glowing out of the window or something, but you're probably right i think i'm influenced on that thinking by the Wilco lyric from SUnken Treasure: "there's rows & rows of houses with the windows painted blue with the light from the TV runnin' parallel to you" _________________ I am Torgo. But on the second time through, it's pretty obvious. Good call on "Sunken Treasure," by the way--one of my favorite tunes on Being There. |
