If they are a vegitarian jsut cause they dont want to eat meat then fair enough, but if they eat at someone's house and that person serves meat, I think its pretty rude not to eat the meat. Meat is really good for ya! And occasionally a burger is ok, but a balanced diet is what ya need I think if someone has made the decision to not eat meat, then the people they go to visit should respect that decision and offer an alternative. And the vegetarian shouldn't just spring it on the person they're visiting the day before they go. Usually some accomodation can be made, and if not there is usually a salad or fruit at least. No meal is all meat (unless you're on the Atkins Diet). One other reason people don't eat meat is relgious belief. |

(side dishes usualy dont fill you up as a meal) my mom dosent acommidate for people who don't eat what she spent hours preparing. besides, there is only one non-meat eater in our family. and dinners consist of like 12 people sometimes. shes isnt going out of her way for one person. but yea. they can jsut eat salad. but they cant hog it all. we want some too. |
