Sorceror isn't a british word, i think.
plus philosophers are cleverer than sorcerors. sorcerors are all hocus pocus mumbo jumbo.

everyone knows magic isn't real.

Thus I never read any of these books. Though I helped my nephew with reading that whatever stone one when he was too little to understand big words.

At the moment, it's Goblet of Fire. But soon, it'll probably be Order of the Phoenix. I'm reading that one right now.

5 is my favorite, because so much is focused on all the kids in school.

i mean, you read it, and get so pissed off at umbridge, and then towards the end, well you know, and you're just like HELLz YEAH, take that!!

but yeah 6 is in a close tie with 5 though, because i love the ending so much. harry stepping it up to be a leader, the scene with that guy's funeral. ginny, yeah.

yep.

goblet of fire was a terrible movie. POA was a great movie all around. GOF was a crock of...crap? Narrative wise, it was probably one of the worst excuses for a movie I've ever seen

I agree. People were upset that Alfonso Cuaron did not remain faithful to the book and had too much artistic stuff in there, but it definitely made for a more enjoyable cinematic experience. It was a good movie.

"Hardcore" HP fans enjoyed GOF more because it followed the book more, but they fail to see that it was overall a bad movie. The transitions from scene to scene were bad and the plot was very choppy. I would have rather them made the movie flow a little more, even if they had to take some of the plot away.

It's too bad that movies adapted from books are always classified as "good" or "bad" depending on how faithful the movie is to the book.

i agree with both, a non HP fan could walk into POA and enjoy the thing independently. GOF was so fast i was even distracted and confused

i'm really all for OOTP being a two parter, i'd pay to see both.

The problem with this is that Books are not movies and people can't get that through their heads.
