My friend Ben is a Junior at Tracy High school in Tracy California (About 65 minutes from Sarcramento) and he called me up and told me there was a girl passing out Eisley posters at his school. And when he went up to her she's all "How did you find out about them" he's all "My friends obsessed with them." (Who was he talking about? o.O) Just thought I would share the Eisley love _________________ UPDATE: REAL MYSPACE LINK! http://www.myspace.com/2399095 Check out my FLICKR and leave comments!!! http://www.flickr.com/photos/28644084@N00/

But then, Portland is a big city so I am sure that there are people who know them. At least, there better be. which college, UP? I've hung up a few downtown in Olympia before coming to the U (It's an even better downtown than Seattle, believe it or not.), but it wasn't as much to promote the shows as much as the music itself. |

It's a throwback to the way Jesus used to kick peoples butts with parables. Except some principals don't know enough about life to tell parables, so they just physically kick butt instead. Myself, I'd love to advertise Eisley's tour, but the fact that I live quite a few miles from any of the tour destinations means it probably wouldn't have much of an effect. _________________

If UP is Catholic, then I doubt that Reed is like it. The unofficial motto for Reed is ""Communism, Atheism, and Free Love." Of course that's exaggerated but I can't picture a Catholic college condoning the sale of items with that motto in their bookstore. Portland I like but to tell the truth I haven't gone out into it that much because of all the work I get. Hawthorne, a street near Reed, has a ton of really cool small shops. But I've only been downtown once, I think. There is Powell's though, which is this used and new bookshop that is four stories high. They give out maps! And there's the Saturday Market, which is the largest open air crafts market in the US (I think). Spring Break is next week and I intend on exploring as much as possible! |
