I waved the flag fer ya Antrider. At least someone from Longview was there... (as well as quite a few from Tyler -- had two students from the college behind the venue from there. Three more months in Boston... And fer them what asked, Brighten and Simon Dawes opened. _________________ RWWH Irrepressibly Yours. |

So wonderful. Guys, thank you for a lovely night. Thank you for opening with "Mr. Pine." Thank you for introducing me to "They All Surrounded Me." (It's my new mission to find a recording of it somewhere.) Thank you for sharing the new songs. (The new album will rock.) Thank you for playing most of my favorites from Room Noises. (If only there was room for Brightly Wound in there somewhere.) Thank you for "My Lovely," which never ceases to put a smile on my face. Thank you for "Just Like We Do." (I can't be the only person who falls in love with this song everytime I hear it.) And thank you for closing with "Trolley Wood." (Between Chauntelle just enjoying herself and having Brighten on stage with you, I'm sure it was one of the highlights for everyone there.) Just thank you. Sherri, you were a trooper for going on with that cold and I adore you for it. Honestly, apart from the coughing and wheezing between songs, no one would have noticed. You sounded that good. And might I suggest the new album be named "Rancid Honey." PS. Stacy, I had a whole package of Dove Dark Chocolate Eggs for you. Alas, I had no chance to give them to you, so I enjoyed some on the way home. PPS. They were good. (Awesome Bowie shirt, by the way.) See you soon, R. myspace: always a tourist |
