If you could be my punk rock princess I would be your garage band king.
You could tell me why you just don't fit in and how you're 'gonna be something.

If I could be your first real heartache I would do it over again.
If you could be my punk rock princess, I would be your heroine.

been waiting for this poll for a while...

George, hands down. i identify with his search for spirituality, and his songs, while few and far-between, are easiest to identify with fo' me. if i had the gumption and some songwriting talent, my songs would be most like his.

Why of course it is Georgie! "He's very fussy about his druummms..", he says defending Ringo. Classic. What a hoakie beautiful fantastic movie that 'Hard Day's Night' was....ah. He is the bestest.

I went with George, too. If this was based on just the complete works of each Beatle, I'd have to choose John. However, George's songs always really stand out for me, and he just doesn't seem to get the credit he deserves (although that is obviously changing these days).

True.

But go back through the library of songs and count how many are
Lennon/McCartney. That's where the largest volume of songwriting came
from...by far. So, it has to be considered.
Thats because those two were the most forceful and(hate to say it) selfish.I believe if they used more of Georges stuff the band would of even been better

john used to be my complete favorite, no doubt. but george keeps stealing more and more pieces of my little heart. i suppose john is still my favorite. but really, all of them together, now that's lovely.

If you took out Paul or John, the Beatles would evaporate from history. Take our George and "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" would create a rock history vaccum the size of Texas...and thousands would die. (even though Eric played the solo)

Sweet. I wonder if this is the first time Eric Clapton has been mentioned on the Eisley forum.
That solo was the #42 greatest solo of all time don't cha know.
